Mary Alexander, Clarks Summit, widow of David Alexander, died yesterday afternoon in the Mercy Hospital following: a brief illness. A daughter of the late Michael and Bridget McNally Roche, Mrs. Alexander was born and reared in North Scranton. She was active lor years in the affairs of Holy Rosary Church and since making her home in Clarks Summit seventeen years ago was a member of Our Lady of Snows Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs.

Anna Ruddy and Mrs. David Mc Crone, both of this city, and one brother, Thomas Roche. Tacoma, Wash. The body has been removed to the home of her sister, Mrs. McCrone, 515 Oak Street, from where the funeral will take place Saturday morning at a time to be announced.
