Emmanuel B. Lavina, D. bishop of the diocese of Corpus Texas, who adopted him, imparted his blessing to several thousand persons. At a dinner and reception held in the Hotel Casey ballroom yesterday afternoon Edward Scott was toastm aster. There were 360 guests present.
