Dr. Curtin Addresses Parent Teacher Group Dr. Vincent T. Curtin spoke on 'Keeping Our Children Well" at a largely attended meeting of James Madison Parent Teacher Association in the school last night. Dr.

Curtin stressed the importance of preventing contagious disease. The meeting opened with community singing in charge of Miss Lowe. Evelyn Evans, vocalist, 'gave several selections accompanied by Mildred Hausser. and Cyrilla Flynn offered piano selections. Chistopher Boland, president, was in charge.

Benjamin Loewy was seated as vice president. The next meeting will be held on February 24 at which time the Rev. Dr. Henry H. Crane will be the principal speaker.

He also requested parents to keep their children away from the lake until official announce ment is made that the lake is ready for skating. At present It Is very dangerous to attempt to skate on the pond. Accord ing to Mr. Bonnert, the Ice should be at least 4 Inches in depth and the thickness at the present time is li than 3 inches.

Coun cil, Green Ridge Baptist Church, was held last night in the church parlors with Dudley Kaley presiding. Plans were completed for the county B. Y. P. U.

committee meeting to be held next Monday In Green Ridge Baptist Church. Plans also were formulated for the Week of Prayer to be held in January. Arrangements were made for a swimming party to be conducted at Weston Field on January 16 under the auspices of the county as sociation.
