WALTER A. BALL of Toms River, formerly of Rochelle Park, died Monday. Before retiring, he was treasurer for Title Guarantee New York City. An Army veteran of World War II, he member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3484, Saddle Brook. He was 'a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C.

He was a Manager with Ruby 1 Tuesday's Restaurant in Florence, a Marine Corp veteran, attended Bethlehem United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Westwood High School in Westwood, NJ. Surviving are his wife, Kerri Poston Renyard of the home; son, Cory Robert Renyard of the home; daughter, Amy Marie Renyard of Kingston, IL; his father and step-mother, George and Cecilia Z. Herb Meadow, TV scriptwriter LOS ANGELES Herb Meadow, a veteran scriptwriter who created the TV series "Have Gun, Will Travel," died Wednesday of a heart attack. Hel was 83.

Mr. Meadow's film credits include "Redhead from 4 Wyoming," which starred Maureen O'Hara, and "The Unguarded Moment" which starred Williams. In addition to "Have Gun Will Travel," Mr. Meadow wrote for about 20 other TV series. "Have Gun, Will Travel," which starred Richard Boone as hired gunman Paladin, aired from 1957 to 1963.
