He is survived by sisters: Elsie May, Boissevain, MB; Ida Arthur, Brandon, MB; Edith (Harry) Brown, Winkler, MB; sister-in-law Evelyn Fox, Vancouver, BC; son Donald (Andrea) Fox, Selkirk, MB; daughter Maureen (Greg) Baldwin, Sherwood Park, AB. He will be lovingly remembered by Mariorie (Walter) Steinke, Brooks, AB; Darlene Volek, Winnipeg, MB; Dayle (Darlene) McKibbon, Edmonton, AB; and his eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral Chapel, Moosomin, SK. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. December 22, 1999 at St. Mathews Anglican Church, Boissevain, MB. The Reverend Father Larry Winslow presided with assistance from Reverend Chris Arthur.

Internment was at the Boissevain Cemetery, Boissevain, MB. He is survived by his wife, Vilma, of 45 years, and son, Glen (Yasmin) Regina, his daughters Heather (Douglas) and grandsons, Carl and Dean Johnson, of Ottawa, Laurie (Leslie), Sharon Pickrell (Dean), both of Regina. He was predeceased by his second son, Bruce, in 1988. John was a bomber pilot in World War 11, attaining the rank of Pilot Officer, and flew out of Burrna. a After the war he attend McGill University, where he graduated in 1950 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. John played football on the Regina Roughriders (1943), Winnipeg Bluebombers (1945), and Montreal Allouettes (1946-1951).

John and his family came to Regina in 1976 when he joined the Highway Traffic Board. He later worked as Safety Standards Engineer for Saskatchewan Government Insurance and retired in 1990. John was an enthusiastic member and a past President of The Royal United Services Institute. He was also a member of the Society of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan. In accordance with John's wishes, there will be no Funeral Memorial Service.

His body has been donated to the University of Saskatchewan Medical Studies. Flowers greatfully declined. Donations in his memory may be sent to Epilepsy Regina, 102A-2505 11th Regina, S4P 0K6. Born 1 May 1, 1968 at Sask. Laurie passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side on December 19, 1999 at 1 the age of 31 years. Laurie leaves to cherish her memory her two sons Riley and Sean Harding; her husband Rick Wendler; parents Ron and Cathy Harding; one sister from Borden Rhonda and Carl Mason and their children Ryan, Carla, Chad and Ashleigh; two brothers from Regina Sask. Trevor and Eyvonne Harding and their children James and Teagan, Scott Harding and Vanessa and Scott's son Gabriel as well as the father of her children Bob Barkhouse. Also Survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Laurie was born and raised in Regina, Sask. and devoted her time to her boys Riley and Sean.

His memory will be lovingly cherished by his wife of 17 years, Bonnie (Hoffer) and children Patrick, Kelsi and Eric, as well as sister Marylou (Lorne Huber) and brothers Rick (Sandra), Cliff, Joe (Monica) and Mike (Darla), in-laws John and Ella Hoffer, Marlien Morrell, Ramon (Nelda), Donna Drummond (Jack), Shelby Gwozdz (Don), Richard (Annalee), Wendy Cebryk (Michael), numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and greatnephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

Don was predeceased by his parents Jack and Josie Moser and brother-inlaw Jack Morrell. Don was born in Regina on November 5, 1950 and grew up in Khedive, SK. He completed a 6 year posting with the Navy in 1974, then a 2 year Recreation Technology course at Kelsey, during which time he ioined HMCS Unicorn Naval Reserve and met his wife Bonnie. Don started with Sasktel in Weyburn in 1979 and transferred to Saskatoon in 1982. Don was a joke-teller, a story-teller, a singer of songs.

To his children, he listened, explained, cuddled and supported their many activities. He will always be a part of us. A Celebration of Don's life was held at Augustana Lutheran Church, corner of Broadway and 7th Street on Monday, December 20 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor David Hunter officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any Cancer organization or to the Saskatchewan Lung Association. Arrangements are entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME. LOHMAN- Elizabeth passed away peacefully December 17, 1999, age 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Fred in 1966. Lovingly remembered by her daughter, Beryl (Laurie); her sons Barry (Doreen) and Garvin (Janice); sister, Laura McKinnon; special grandchildren Deborah, Lorie, Karen, Kevin, Gary, Jelana, Brad and Penny and 9 greatgrandchildren; nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Hilda took great pride in being Grand Guardian of Jobs Daughters and a member of the Excelsior Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. One of Hilda's greatest achievements was obtaining her teacher's certificate. Education motivated her throughout her life. She touched the lives of many, bringing generosity and kindness into their hearts. Donations to the Heart Fund would be appreciated.

Mom was an example for all of us to follow. She was a dear friend, family member, mother, and grandmother who we can truly say touched the hearts of many. She had a wonderful way of dealing with people.

They always marveled at her courage and sense of humor considering she was going through. Mom always thought of other people first even when she became very ill." Mom had her special angels here on earth including her family, her girlfriends, the nurses, Dr. Rayson Dr. Cameron who helped her with her courageous struggle, and the many people who rallied around her offering their love and support. Mom appreciated these acts of kindness so much, it would bring tears to her eyes when she thought how wonderful everyone was to her.

Prayers will be held Tuesday, December 21st Our Lady of Grace Church in Sedley at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church on Wednesday, December 22nd at 2:00. Interment will follow at Sedley Cemetery. Friends so wishing may make a memorial donation to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Merry Christmas, Mom. You are with US always. We love you. LAROSE-Candace Marie, tragically left her earthly home on Friday, December 17, 1999, at the age of 23 years. Predeceased by her grandparents, Hector and Freda (Okeeweehow) La Rose, and Horace and Abigail Flett and Aunt Donna La Rose and cousin Jacob La Rose.

She leaves to mourn Fiancee Jeremy Ball, her parents, Gerald and Lorna Flett, Brothers: Randy (Calgary), Darcy (Lebret) and Gerald (Regina): Sisters: Mindy (John), Ricki-lee, Christine and niece Mandy. Very special Uncle Clifford Fayant and the Elliott Family (extended), numerous Uncles, Aunts and cousins. Candace was born in Balcarres, and raised in Abernethy. She attended school both in Abernethy and Balcarres. Candace had a great love and passion for everyone.

She enjoyed taking care of animals and was fascinated with the beauty of nature. She wanted to learn how to care for people in need and recently enrolled in a program to help her gain the education to hopefully one day become an emergency response technician. A wake will be held at the Regina Friendship Center, Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at 5:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lebret, Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at 10:00 A.M with Rev. Sindy Scott.

Renee Legrand Lorne Palmer Harvey Senger PARKS-On December 20, 1999, James (Jim) Parks, late of Qu'Appelle, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Irene Parks. Jim leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 36 years, Helen (nee Haydalo), four children Wesley (Elizabeth), Carman, Shannon (Trevor) and Scott (Tammy), five grandchildren Jaime, Candice, Jesse, McKenzie and Zachary, all of Regina.

He is also survived by his sisters Joan McKimm, Winnipeg, Linda (Pat) Mulroney, Langenburg, brothers, Alvin (Donna), Moose Jaw, Hal (Doreen), Rocanville, brother-inlaws Elwood Haydalo and Fred Bordas, Regina, step-brother Wayne (Paulette) Culbertson, Welwyn, step-sisters, Jean (David) Jack, Young, and Dorothy (Irvin) Schultz, Fort McLeod, special friends John (Mary) Manshande, Henry (Gail) Westendorp, A.J. Zeck, and Todd Pederbeski as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. We will all miss his laugh, his sense of humour and most of all we will miss our Jim was a crane operator and a member of Local 870 I.0.U.E. of Saskatchewan for 25 years.

SACKVIE-Brian Henry Sackvie, late of Regina, passed away suddenly December 18, 1999 at the age of 44 years.

Brian was born May 23, 1955 in St. Catharines, Ont. Predeceased by his grandparents, August and Pauline Sackvie and Adolph and Mary Ann Egler, Brian is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lynette (Lyn); children: Ken, Andrea and Danielle all at home; his parents, Henry and Erna Sackvie, St. Catharines, sister Donna (Murray) Wright, St. Catharines, mother-in-law Bev Smerechinski (Bud), Moose Jaw, brother-in-law Larry (Diane) Smerechinski, Branden and Caitlin, Sherwood Park, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Brian received his education in St. Catharines transferring to Regina in 1979 with Revenue Canada. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 21, 1999 from 7:00 8:30 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Funeral service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Hillsdale Regina on Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at 1:30 p.m.

SAJTOS-The family of Louis Joseph (Joe) Saitos announce with deepest sorrow the passing of Joe, Sunday, December 19, 1999 at the age of 44 years. He died peacefully after a valiant struggle with cancer at the Pasqua Hospital with his loving family in attendance. Predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents; Louis and Julia Saitos; Joseph and Theresia Reiss. Joe is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family; father Louis; mother Elizabeth (Betty) both of Regina; his sister E. Joanne of Toronto; his ever faithful Shadow and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joe was born at Lestock on March 16, 1955, he attended the University of Regina as a mature student and received a degree in Human Justice in 1991.
