Ed and taught in the Catholic School System from 1984 until his passing. At the time of his death he was teaching at E.D. Feehan High School. His specials needs students were very dear to him. His interests included cars, the outdoors, fishing and woodworking.

Above all Bob will be remembered for his deep faith in God and love for his family. He was a rough and tough character with a marshmallow soul who loved his family, peopie in general, curling, golf and "HIS" R.C.M.P. family. (761- 2727) Funeral Director Dave Rist 8 DEATH NOTICES WEIDMANN-FREDRICK passed away in Regina on February 10, 1999 at the age of 96 years. Fred was born November 17, 1902 in Wolynian, Russia.

He moved with his parents Gustov and Emilia at a young age of seven years, to East Prussia, Germany, where his brothers and sisters, Helen, Olga, August, Holdine, Adolf, Ludwig and Lisbeth were born. In the year 1927, Fred came to Canada to be with his uncle, John Drews, who farmed in Saskatoon at that time. Shortly after, he moved to Earl Grey to be near his eldest sister Helen Tillman, he then purchased a farm near there and began farming on his own. Through friends, he got to know people in Stoughton who introduced him to the Ring family and he married one of the Ring girls, Wilemine. In this marriage, five children were born: Helen of New Market, ON; Edwin of Calgary, AB; Linda of Regina, SK; Leona of Guelph, ON and Armin of Regina, SK.

Fred and Wilemine lived on a farm they bought near Stoughton until 1967, at which time they moved to Regina. A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE will be held on Saturday, February 13, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at New Apostolic Church, 838 Broadway Avenue East, Regina. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are entrusted to REGINA FUNERAL HOME (Phone 789-8850).

HOWENKA, ANNE-With her daughters at her side, Anne peacefully continued on her eternal journey, January 31, 1999 at Regina General Hospital at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 1979; her parents John and Barbara Saroka; brothers: Bill, Steve and Matt; sisters: Gertie and Tillie. She was a loving mother to daughters: Mary Ann (Morgan) Rice, Brantford, ON; and Marlene A. Hall, Regina; grandmother to: Steven (Brenda) Rhys, Richmond Hill, ON; Dr. Lori Rice, Hamilton, ON; Craig (Ann) Rice, Calgary, AB; Taylor (Sherry) Hall, Corpus Christi, Texas; and Jason (Jodi) Hall, Regina; Baba to six great grandchildren; sister to Sister Mary Raphael, Mundare, AB; and aunt Annie to several nieces and nephews.

Our mother will be remembered for her love, devotion and support. Her strength of character was most evident during our father's illness with ALS, when she cared for him at home, tirelessly and lovingly for over three years. Her independent spirit and sense of discipline are an inspiration to her family and all who knew her. She had great love for every family member and took quiet pride in their individual accomplishments. We will be forever grateful to Gisela, Noreen, Rod and Deanna of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, for their exceptional care and compassion for our mother during a particularly difficult time.

Their patience, kindness and expressions of support sustained us in a loving way. A memorial service for Anne will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College on Saturday, February 13, 1999 at 3:30 p.m., with Karen Lumley officiating. Flowers most gratefully declined. JOICE, MRS. DOROTHY (nee Honeywell)late of Regina, formerly of Torquay, passed away at on February 10, 1999, at the age of 89 years. Mrs. Dorothy Joice is survived by loving daughters Etta (Edward) Wanner, Regina; Caroline (George) Gray, Balgonie; Margaret (Bernie) Peterson, White City; June (Kas) Dakiniewich, Pilot Butte; Grandsons Lavern (Lorraine), Brian, Daniel (Jacqueline), Regina, Troy Scott Dakiniewich, Pilot Butte; Great-Grandchildren Pamela, Anthony, Boston Asia Wanner, Regina. Predeceased by her loving husband Archie, 1986.

McDONALD-Lydia Ellen (Nellie) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 1999 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; three children, Harold, Jeanette and Joan; and by her parents, Tom and Edith Davis.

Nellie is survived by her children: Allan (Marie) McDonald, Ev (Oscar) Heller, Alice (Ozzie) Schmalenberg, Marion (Charles) Anderson, Jean McDonald; one brother, Reg Davis; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will follow in the Southey Cemetery.

(formerly of Regina, Sask.) passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on February 11, 1999, after a courageous struggle with cancer.

Lorraine will be greatly missed by her husband John Howe; her sons, Rae (Barb), Marty, Pat (Brenda); daughter, Lorrie (Alex) and grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor and Kavita. Also remembered with much love by her three sisters; one brother; all of Lorraine's friends and all the Ketcheson and Howe families. In celebration of Lorraine's life, a Funeral Service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C., on Sunday, February 14, 1999 at 1:00 PM. A Reception will follow the Service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Lorraine, to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.

SMITH M.E., beloved wife of Arthur, passed away at the age of 56 years on February 10, 1999. Ilene was known to many through Watkins. Predeceased by her father Bruce Hall and a brother James, she is survived by her loving husband Arthur, her mother Mary, daughter Geraldine, son Wayne (Laurie) and daughter Glenda (Gasper): granddaughters Carissa and Miranda. Five brothers and one sister also survive. The Funeral Service will be conducted at St.
