Neely attended elementary and high school in Francis, Saskatchewan and attended 1 the University of Saskatchewan where he attained a degree in Geological Engineering. Before retiring he worked for Cominco in various positions in Canada and Australia. He is survived by his wife Betty, four children and eight grandchildren.

His children are John (Terry) Moore, Judie (Tokue) Suda, George (Cindy) Moore of Abbotsford, B.C. and Gene (Dave) Button of Regina. Neely is also survived by two sisters, Aileen Moore of Edmonton and Margaret (Ed) Heil of Abernethy, Saskatchewan. JAKOWSKI- Lee Jakowski, age 21 years, late of Regina, passed away tragically in a car accident, on Sunday, October 18, 1998. Cooper is survived by his loving parents, Henry and Susan Jakowski; sister Lacey Jakowski; grandparents, Antoni and Margaret Jakowski, Leon and Jadwiga Pytel, all of Regina; uncles, Frank (Donna) Jakowski of Calgary, Len (Maureen) Pytel of Regina; cousins, Kimberly and Kelsey Jakowski of Calgary.
