George, with Alison, retired to Courtenay after 35 years with the City of Regina, Waterworks Dept. All-son and family wish to especially thank Dr. Nancy McFadden and all the doctors and nursing and emergency staff at St. Joseph's Hospital.

They're also thankful for all the wonderful support from neighbors and friends. Jack was born on June 9, 1915 at Northgate, SK.

At 27, he came to Regina and enlisted in the Canadian Army. After training Jack was sent to England, where he met his future wife Joan, his loving wife of 53 years. After the war he tried several jobs until early 1949 when he ioined the Regina Transit Service where he remained a fixture behind the wheel until his retirement in 1980. Jack enloyed meeting people and sharing a laugh. He will be missed by many.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 1999 at 1 :00 P.M. in the Helmsing Funeral Chapel, 2210 College Regina Sask. with Rev. Barry Bruce, officiating. In ferment will be held in the Oxbow Cemetery at a later date.

FLORENCE NEW late of Medicine Hat, Kelowna and Moose Jaw, passed away Sunday, April 11, 1999 of cancer. Ivan was born in Stayner, and raised in rural Saskatchewan near Kenaston. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and taught school In Kenaston, Simpson, Watrous and Regina.

He contributed greatly to the education of many in Regina over his 30 years as a teacher. Vice Principal and Principal at Central Collegiate. In 1995 Ivan was recognized by the Regina School Board for his outstanding contribution to education. Throughout his life, he had many Interests including hunting, fishing, curling, skiing, golf and always the companionship of his dogs. Ivan will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered for his positive attitude, his energy, enthusiasm and love of life.

He was predeceased by his father Allen In 1990 and his mother-in-law Ruth Wa-gar in 1998. on October 22, 1956. He took his elementary school in Ituna, Humboldt and Regina. He graduated from Miller Composite High School and attended the University of Regina where he earned a B.Ed and a B.Sc. and began Master's program. He married Joan Wagar on August 12, 1978.

They moved to Saskatoon and had three children. In 1987, he earned a M.D from the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. He worked with his aunt Dr Helen Flegel and at St. Paul's Hospital and later opened a medi clinic In Saskatoon. In 1992, they moved to Rugby, North Dakota where Stewart worked at the Johnson Clinic In 1995, they moved to Sterling, Colorado where he worked at the Regional Medical Cen tre until his death.

Stewart's greatest legacy Is his children who he had an endless amount of time, energy and love tor. He had an enthusl asm and zest for life which he shared with all his family and friends. He loved working on model trains and planes, going fishing, having campfires, and enloying water sports. Per haps his most lovable characteristics were his quick laugh, his kindness, and bis endless gen erosity. He was a special one-of-a-kind person who created a presence wherever he was.

He was liked by all and loved by many. He will be forever In our hearts as we continue on without him. Memorial service will be held Thursday April 15, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. In Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, with Rev. Kasper Klein, OMI officiating.
