BUCK David Desmond- It is with deep sadness our family announces the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather on Monday, November 15th at the age of 73 at the Royal University Hospital.

Dad was born in Woodlawn, Ontario on November 3rd, 1926. Dad served his country during World War 11 in the Royal Canadian Navy. He then attended McGill University before moving to Saskatoon in the 50s where he joined Northern Electric. The maiority of Dad's career was spent with Jones where he travelled throughout the Prairies helping students create their high school yearbooks. Dad's greatest enjoyment was meeting, working with, and helping people.

He was a deeply religious person, and as a member of his church, was a lay reader for several years. Dad touched many lives with his caring wit and his sincere humor. Dad had two passions in life: old cars and sunshine. When he retired, Dad and Marge would spend time during the winter in Arizona, and while he was at home, he would work on his 1955 Nash Statesman. He was proud of his car and looked forward to the Saskatoon Antique Auto Club Cruis Night where he would show his car.

Dave is survived by his loving wife Marge of seven years, sons Scott (Sabrina) and Daryl, stepfather to Kurt (Heather), Carl (Gail), Eric (Cathy), and Lara. Papa Dave to Mandy, Robyn, Kara, Kaylen, Kiel, Ryan and Sydney Frederickson and Mikey and Emily Wowk. Brother to: Irwin (Dot) Mary (Ed), Alice, Pat (Laura), Berna, Brian (Mavis), Doris (Merv) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Sara, brothers Charlie, Eddie, Fred and sister Ethel. The Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 3572 33rd St.

RONEY-ROBERT ALEXANDER of Southey passed away November 14, 1999 at the age of 88 years. Weyburn, (842-5432). BLAIRI CATHERINE (NANCY) BLAIR (NEE: WOOD) of Moose Jaw, passed away suddenly in Saskatoon, Sask. on Monday, November 15, 1999. Born in Readlyn, November 25th, 1921, Nancy moved to Moose Jaw in 1942 to work for Prairie Airways where she met and married her first husband, Wally Douglas in 1946. After having her family, she worked for Agnes McGhee (Physiotherapist) for many years and then for Dr.

A.F. Muirhead as a dental assistant until 1969 when she married Bill. Bill and Nancy spent summers on the farm at Coderre and winters in Moose Jaw until Bill retired from farming in 1988. Bill and Nancy enjoyed winters square dancing with the Buttons Bows Square Dance Club. They went on two wonderful trips to England Ireland to visit relatives.

She was a life time member of the Royal Purple. She spent many hours enjoying her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, James and Nellie Wood, first husband, Wallace Stanley Douglas, second husband, William A. Blair, daughter, Marlene (Douglas) Labuik; four brothers: Bill, George, Ted and Alfred. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Diane (Dave) Berggren of Assiniboia, son-in-law, Bill Labuik of Moose Jaw, four grandchildren: Ken (Marni) Berggren of Assiniboia, Colin Berggren of Swift Current, Trevor Berggren of Swift Current, Sask.

Reiser, late of Regina, 8 DEATH NOTICES PICKARD-MYRTLE MARINE Myrtle went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on November 15, 1999 at the age of 78 following a brief illness. Myrtle was born on her grandparents' farm near Alameda, SK on November 26, 1920.

She was the eldest of two children born to Mabel and Curtis Smith. In 1940 Myrtle married Edwin Pickard of Frobisher, SK and they settled in Estevan, SK to raise eight children. Myrtle is predeceased by her husband Edwin in April 1992 and her eldest child Donna Krobutschek in May 1999. Myrtle is survived by her loving children Joan Coulter (Murray), Diane Kuhns (Norm), Linda Sawatzky (Neil), Gwen Bannatyne (lain), Ed Pickard (Julia), Rob Pickard (Marielena) and Lorie (Rory); 25 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; her sister Delores Piper, brother-in-law Larry Frank; her nieces, nephews and many friends. Myrtle will always be remembered for her lifetime of service and love which she selflessly gave to her family.

Myrtle's family would especially like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Ambulatory Care and Unit 3D of the Pasqua Hospital for their compassionate care and support during Myrtle's illness. A service to honour Myrtle's life will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy East, on Saturday, November 20, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Wells officiating. A visitation for family and friends will take place Friday, November 19, 1999 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Regina Funeral Home.

Rosie left England to come to Canada in July 1946 to be met by her soldier and husband Ken Kyle.

Rosie and Ken farmed 8 miles S.W. of Redvers. Besides farming, Rosie was involved in C.W.L., Brownies, Legion (Auxiliary). Rose and Ken moved to Crocus Villa, Weyburn, July 1998. Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ken Kyle.

Sons, Ray (Donelda), Redvers, Lee, (Jeannine), Redvers, Patrick (Linda), Edmonton, and one daughter, Teresa (Doug) Aikens, Windthorst. Nine grandchildren, Lyndon Sheldon Kyle, Jennifer (Pat), Leanne Stephen Kyle, Kimberly Michael Kyle, Chelsea Colin Aitkens. One great grandson Brayden. Three sisters, three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Redvers, at 11:00 a.m., November 18th.

(nee Van Den Bossche) was born March 23, 1928 and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, November 14, 1999 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Sheldon on April 28, 1999, her parents Mary and Adolph; sister Alice and brother Doug. Bertha leaves to mourn her passing her children: Brenda (Garry); Marlene (John) and Glynn; her grandchildren Debbie (Chris), Michelle, Leanne, Rigel and Erin and four great-grandchildren; brothers Henry (Lena); Andrew (Amelia), Oscar (Maryanne) and Maurice (Lorraine); sisters Julie (Joe) and Beth (Sandy) and brothers and sisters-in-law and their families. Mr. Wilkinson is survived by three daughters: Shirley (Ed) Bitz, Regina, Doris (Nelson) Gietz, Winnipeg, Arlene (Joe) Ackerman, Regina, seven grandchildren: Scott and Sandra Bitz, Jason and Stephen Gietz, Trevor, Jennifer and Christoper Ackerman: brother, Bill (Arvinna): sister-in-law Chrissie Wilkinson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Regina, with Rev. Sharon Davis officiating.

JORDENS-Gerard Francis passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 1999 at Parkway Lodge, Weyburn at the age of 89 years.

Gerry was formerly of Whitewood, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by 10 brothers and two sisters and his wife, Margaret. Gerry is survived by one brother, Joe of Broadview and one sister, Theresa of St. Albert, Alberta. Gerry is also survived by his immediate family of five children, Jacqueline Fredlund of Regina, Ralph (Linda) Jordens of Weyburn, Jerry (Janie) Jordens of Weyburn, Michael (Margaret) Jordens of Richmond, B.C., Gloria (Hugh) Sutcliffe of Vancouver, B.C.

He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Gerry served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1940-1945 and returned to Whitewood with an English War Bride, Margaret where they began farming south of Whitewood until 1973 when he retired in Whitewood. Gerry was an active member of the Whitewood Legion as president and other executive positions. He was also a councillor on the Whitewood Town Council. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St.

Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Whitewood, on Saturday, November 20, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. by the Rev. Ed Hengen. Interment in the Whitewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire contribution to the Whitewood Rink Building Fund or to a charity of choice may be tokens of remembrance.

Arrangements in care of the Tubman Funeral Home. Wolseley. (1-800-667-8962) -Thelma Viola Henderson (nee Thorvaldson) of Calgary, beloved wife of the late George Roberton Henderson, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, November 13, 1999 at the age of 77 years. Thelma was a native Calgarian who lived in Elrose, Swift Current, Saskatoon and Edmonton as she and George followed his career with Imperial Oil. She returned with him to Calgary following his retirement.

Thelma and George loved and cared for each other deeply through a marriage of fifty three years. Their health problems are now over and they will laugh, love and dance together again in the stars. In thought and deed, Thelma was devoted to her family. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Thelma is survived by her daughter Jackie and her husband Gordon Tweddell of Calgary; her son Blair Henderson and his partner Glenda Goertz of Victoria, BC; her granddaughter Kelly Tweddell and her husband Michael Holowack of Calgary and her granddaughter Lauren Henderson of Victoria, BC.

She was predeceased by her husband George in May, 1999. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Arthritis Society, 1301 8th Street S.W., Calgary, AB T2R 1B7. The family gratefully thanks the staff of Unit 81 of the Rockyview General Hospital for the comfort, care and kindness they provided to Thelma and family. Patricia is survived by her son and daughter-inlaw, Mike and Bev; five grandchildren, Bobby (Kari), Michael, Stephen, Kathryn, Melburn; and one great-grand-daughter, Taylor. A Private Family Service was held on Tuesday, November 16, 1999 with Rev. Ron Sutton officiating.
