Thnreday, May 20, 1993 The San Paga 9 Club plants such as ornamental cabbage and kale to add color to members' fall gardens. Hostesses will be Corrine Arcangel Gloria Krull and Heidi Petkus. The Hamburg Christian Women's Club will hold a luncheon Thursday, May 27 at 11:30 a.m. in Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant in Blasdell. Special feature will be fashion accessories.

Charlene Martin will provide music and Ruth MacLea of Elora, Ontario, will speak on "Coordinating Your Life." A Members of the House and Garden Club will do their civic planting Tuesday, May 25 in Centennial Park and the Fragrant Memorial Garden at the Hamburg Public Library. Red, white, blue and gold flowers will be planted in honor of The World University Games to be held in Buffalo this summer. The herb garden in Centennial Park will also be refreshed with new plantings. A short business meeting and social will be held at the Hamburg Methodist Church on Union Street following the planting. Walter Dzubella of Eden will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner hosted by their family at North Collins American Legion. Mr. Dzubella and the former Irene A. Heiderman were married June 19, 1943 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Kenmore.

They have eight children and 19 grandchildren. Mr. Dzubella is a retired welder for Donner Hanna Coke in South Buffalo and Mrs. Dzubella is a volunteer at the VA Hospital. Both have been active members of Eden American Legion.

The annual meeting of the Williams Mills Chapter, NSDAR will be held at the Hamburg home of Joanne Piniew-ski on Tuesday, May 25 at 7 p.m. She will be assisted by Karen James. A slate of officers will be installed by Regent Karen Lang.

Nominated for two-year terms are; Joanne Piniewski, regent; Mary Benzel, vice regent; Karen Lang, chaplain; Patricia Wilson, recording secretary; Martha Miess, corresponding secretary; Kay Green, treasurer; Marlea Crowther, registrar, Barbara Lang, historian; and Pauline Krull, librarian. Chapter members are reminded to bring good used clothing to benefit a DAR school. Professional Secretaries International, Buffalo Chapter, will meet Wednesday, June 2 at Rich Products Corporation, Rich Renaissance Atrium in Buffalo. The program will feature installation of officers and directors and initiation of new members. A mini-workshop will begin the evening at 5:45 p.m.

For information, contact Joyce Ann Lo- Destro at 689-7650. Hamburg United Methodist Church Women honored two of their members at their annual spring banquet May 11 in the Church Fellowship Hall. Honorees are Edith Ellis and Debbie Klein. Mrs. Ellis has been an active member of UMW for 30 years.

She has served on many committees and is presently a Circle leader. She was also a volunteer at The Good News Dining Room in Buffalo. Mrs. Klein is co-president of the Hamburg UMW. She has been a Sunday School teacher for the past four years and actively involved in the Vacation Bible School She is also a Girl Scout Leader, presently leading a Brownie troop.

Following dinner, members and guests were entertained by The Gard Family who presented a musical program featuring Becky on harp and clarinet, Eric on bass, and Patrick on electric guitar, accompanied by their mother, Roberta. Their father, Roger joined them in the closing presentation, "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" The Evans Garden Club will meet Thursday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Centennial Park, in the Village of Angola to plant flowers around the Gazebo and other areas of the park. The Gazebo is the site of a number of summer activities including the weekly Wednesday Evening Lawnchair Concerts. Following the planting, the members will hold their annual plant auction.

Planning October wedding Richard and Linda Trippi of North Boston announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Ann, to Gregory Mark Warner, son of El win and Dolores Warner of Boston. Miss Trippi is a graduate of Hamburg High School and SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.

She is a teacher at Holy Cross Head Start. Mr. Warner is also a graduate of Hamburg High School. He is a USAF veteran and is employed in sales for Paul Riefler Inc. The couple is planning an October wedding at St.

John the Baptist Church in Boston. AAL seeks aid for The Aid Association for Lutherans, AAL, is seeking assistance for a Colden-area woman. Trade Andrews Baule, who is in need of medical attention. Trade Andrews Baule, daughter of Stuart and Mary Lou Andrews, was born and raised in Colden and is a young mother who is experiencing a life-threatening pregnancy. She has spent many months in and out of the hospital with severe complications and her medical coverage is not sufficient to cover the costs.

This young family has medical bills that are astronomical, according to Cyndie A. Smith, president of the Women's Guild of Colden 's Redeemer Lutheran Church. A bake sale will be held on Saturday, June 6 at the Colden Mill Restaurant Michelsens have girl Mr. and Mrs. David Michelsen of Lake View announce the birth of their daughter, Kara Ann, on April 19, 1993.

She joins two sisters, Jessie and Jennifer. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hosken of Lake View and Mr. and Mrs.

Lloyd Michelsen of Hamburg. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard DeVoe and Mrs. Walter Hosken, all of Hamburg.
