Mest, of the Keely apartments, yesterday purchased Grim's News agency and the Sunday paper route operated by Howard Weller in one combined news business. The deal will become effective tomorrow, Grim's agency was operated bv Henry K. Grim for many years. It was started 70 years ago by Henry F. Koch, Grim's grand-------fat 1 pt Kewsptipers were then driven here by stage coach from Philadelphia, arriving at 3 o'clock each afternoon.

Koch, who died in 1918, operated the business more than 50 years. Grim was associated with the business the past 38 years. He has announced no plans for his future. Mest said he expected to reside in the agency building. Philadelphia avenue and Chestnut street, in the Spring.

Mest started as a newsboy for Grim. He is a graduate of Boyertown High school, class of 1934. He is married to Alice Schlotterer.
