Predeceased by his wife, Gladys, in 1992, Reg is survived by his daughter, Darlene Ware (Serge Kuiawa) of Regina, grandson, Scott Ware of Regina, brother, Ed (Martha) Armstrong of Tisdale, sister Irma Issom of Portland, Oregon; cousin, George Armstrong of Regina, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Reg was born on June 29, 1903 in Cartwright, where he lived until 1907, when the family moved to Medicine Hat where he attended school with his brother and sister. He began working for Scott National In Medicine Hat when he was 18, moving to The Pas, Manitoba, Yorkton, Armstrong, B.C. and Flin Flon before coming to Regina. Reg worked for Scott National for 42 years before his retirement in 1968.

He was a quiet man who lived his long life with grace and dignity. Reg will be remembered by those who knew and loved him as a man of quiet strength, endurance, honesty and integrity. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 3, 1994 at 1:30 P.M. in St. John's United Church, 977 McTavish Regina, with Rev.

Ron Clark, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the William Booth Special Care Home, St. John's United Church or to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the HELMSING FUNERAL CHAPEL, Regina. (Phone 522-7678).

Hewitt Helmsing Lome Palmer Ryan McLane AXFORD Jean Patience (nee Pomeroy) passed away on September 29, 1994. Jean was born in Palmerston, on June 9, 1911. She moved to Sask. with her parents in 1918, living In Gilroy and Lewvan until 1928 when they settled In the Gray district where her parents farmed for many years until their retirement. Predeceased by her parents, Norman (1963) and Margaret (1973); brothers: Meldrum, Alvin, Hartley and Bob; one sister, Edith.

She Is survived by her husband, Fred; sons: Don (Joan) of W. Vancouver, Barry (Janet) of Pickering, and daughter, Marlene (Blaine) Benson of Victoria, B.C.; grandchildren: Gordon and Leanne Axford, Tracy and Dawn Axford, Heather, Christy and Laura Benson; one great grandson, Andrew Johnson; brothers: Gavin (Eva), Evan, Wilbur (Lorraine); two sisters: Rhoda (Ratph) I ngenthron and Margaret "Peggy" Watts; as well as numerous nephews and nieces and a host of friends. Jean and Fred met in September, 1928. They were married on February 5, 1931, sharing more than 63 happy years of marriage. They farmed in the Gray district until they retired to Regina In 1983.

Jean was a long time member of Gray United Church, U.C.W., and Homemaker's Club. When they moved to Regina, they transferred their membership to Lakeview United Church, where Jean became an active member of one of the U.C.W. Units. Jean enioyed farm life and all the many activities involved. She was an avid gardener.

She loved flowers, as was always evident from the many flowers in their yard. Jean was an active member of the Milestone Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She served as Worthy Matron in 1969 and 1977 and as District Deputy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter in 1980-81. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. in Lakeview United Church with the Rev.

David Hoffman officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, October 3, 1994 in Speers Funeral Chapel from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCollum S4S 0R8, or any charity of your choice. GALANDY Joseph (Tony) Galandy of Downsview, Ontario, passed away suddenly on September 25, 1994 at the age of 59.

Predeceased by his father Mike in 1982, brother Walter in 1953 and sister in infancy. He is survived by his mother Lena Galandy of Preeceville, brothers: Bill (Stella) of Langley, B.C., Larry, Jim and Ron (Anita) of Calgary, sisters: Sylvia (Alec) Mushynsky and Lorna "Carol" Korzenowski (Ory) of Regina, 10 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. William Gelowitz was born on May 27th, 1934 at Esterhazy, Sask. he was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Gelowitz; a grandson, Christopher McLean; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Margaret and John Norquay. He is survived by his wife, Doreen; three children: Sharon (McLean), Cupar, Brenda (Huber), Regina and Lome, Saskatoon; sons-ln-law: Glen and Randy; and daughter-in-law, Deidre. PAPA" will be forever missed by his grandchildren which he enioyed so very much. Left to remember all the love he offered are Crystal, Nicole, Jason, Michael, Jarett and Ashlan.

Bill is also survived by his sisters: Agnes Grosse, Saskatoon and Terry Houle, B.C.; brothers: John, Regina, Dan, Vernon, B.C., Clarence, Radville and Don, Phoenix, Arizona. Bill will be remembered for his un-ending love and support for his family and for his many years of business and community involvement. Bill's accomplishments were many. He began his business career in Fort Qu'Appelle with his young family in 1959. Bill soon became known os "Wild Bill" through his many years as owner of the IGA Food-liner In the Fort.

Over the years Bill's other business interests included real estate, furniture sales, construction, meat cutting instruction. Billiard Hall owner and building ond operating his Thunder-bird Apartments which he was so very proud of. He also worked with Northern Telecom in Regina and served the Province of Saskatchewan as a Coroner for 12 years. Another love of Bill's was flying his airplane over the valley and visiting his many friends throughout the countryside as they worked in the fields. Bill's community involement was also very important to him.

He was actively involved with the Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus (4th Degree), the Fort Chamber of Commerce, Valley Winter Festival, Fort Rotary Club, Saskatchewan Tourism and spent many years coaching and sponsoring local Ball and Hockey Teams in addition to many years of curling with his wife Doreen. Bill will be quickly remembered for his willingness to help others, his big smile and heartfelt laughter which would warm up any room he entered. Bill was always thinking of ways to show his love for his wife and for his family, most recently he and Doreen took their children and grandchildren on a two week Christmas vacation to Disneyland. To see Bill try and keep up to his grandchildren was a sight to behold. Arrangements in care of the Tubman Funeral Home, Fort Qu'Appelle.

Don was a sports fanatic especially where the Roughriders were concerned. He was also an ovid Blue Jay fan. Don was olways optimistic and good spirited. Although confined to a wheelchair he attended Riders games faithfully for the past 20 plus years.
