Victoria, C. on Friday May 18, 1984 Helen McKay, daughter ot the late Mr. and Mrs John McKay of Indian Head, Sask. passed away at the age of 56 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dearly, she is survived by her loving sister, Mar-torie of Regina, two brothers Ian and his wife Joan McKay ot Indian Head and Donald and his wife Louise McKay of Geneva, Switzerland and beloved Aunt Nan (Mrs.

A McKay) of Victoria, C. Helen is also survived by three nieces Heather McKay ot Brock ville, Ontario, Carla and her husband, Roy Dorwart of Regina and Lisa McKay of Indian Head and University of Saskatchewan at Saskatoon and one nephew, Gordon and his wife Cheryl McKay of Calgary, Alberta At the time of her death Helen was Head of the Department of Business and Science at the Greater Victoria Public Library. She was also Head of Adult Services in the Regina Public Library from 1967 to 1972 Helen was educated at Public and High Schools at Indian Head She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University Tn Ottawa, Ontario and received her Masters of Library Science Degree from Columbia University in New York City Cremation A memorial service was held in Victoria for friends and relatives May 22, 1984 A further memorial service will be held at St Andrews United Church in Indian Head on Wednesday, May 30, at 2 00 with Rev Mark Wartman officiating At Helen's own request in lieu of flowers she would like donations sent to the Victoria Public Library, 735 Broughton Street, Victoria V8W 3H2 In care of Miss Barbara Watt.
