The marriage of Kathryn Suzanne, daughter of David and Marilyn Oancia of Regina, to Donald Brent, son of Ron and Dolores Howe of Mossbank, took I place on March 25, 1989, at St. Johns United Church in Regina. Ron Clark officiated. Organist was Kathleen Upton. Soloists were Joan Lowey Chlebus and David Lowey. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown, featuring two tier plisse ruffles. The top was crystal organza with lace ap- pliques and leg omutton sleeves.

The gown and headpiece were designed by the bride and handmade by Jo Brophy and Bunny respectively. Many thanks to them and Mary Deitz for her wonderful creation of the cake. The bride carried a fresh bouquet of yellow roses, purple irises and ivory freesia, beautifully made by Bev Punshon. The groom, given away by his parents, looked very handsome in three piece charcoal grey tails, with an ivory shirt and charcoal bow tie. His boutonniere was a fresh yellow rose.

The Matron of Honour, Wanda Howe, and Bridesmaids, Avis Howe and Valerie Fahlman, wore dark purple satin cocktail length gowns of similar design. They carried fresh arm bouquets of yellow lilies, ivory freesia and purple status. i The Bestman, Darrell Howe, and Groomsmen, Tom Howe and Gene Gel, wore charcoal tuxes with ivory shirts and dark purple satin bow ties and cummerbunds. Their boutonnieres were fresh yellow lilies. Ushers were Carlotta Perry, Mark Oancia and Doug Howe.

Master of ceremonies was Murray Lowey, and the toast to the Bride was given by Dale Mitchell, both are Uncles of the Bride. The guest register was attended by Jana Lowey and Jennifer Mitchell, cousins of the Bride. A receptiondance was held at St. Marys Parish Centre. All our love and thanks to our parents for all they have given us.

A special thanks to Gsandma Lowey for handing down her wedding ring which the Bride now wears as her wedding band. Don and Kathy now live in Yorkton. c5 Anniversary 3 FAVREAU POWELL Don and Bonnie send a special thanks to their parents, Alice Powell and Art and Edie Favreau, for a beautiful wedding. The wedding was June 25, 1988 at Broadway United Church. Matron of honor was Heather Granger.

Bridesmaids were Michelle Phillips, Cindy Clements and Faye Mitchell. Bestman was Fred Meurs. Groomsmen were Dave Favreau, Alvin Mitchell and Leonard Mitchell. Junior Groomsman was Shawn Machmer. Ring bearer was Curtis Machmer.

Ushers were Norm Powell and Patrick Granger. Master of Ceremonies was Brenda Oliver. We also thank friends and relatives who participated, especially Wendy Machmer who took pictures. JONES FRIESEN The marriage of Colleen Alanna, daughter of Marina and Mel Friesen of Regina to Alan William Richard, son of Bernice and the late Morris Jones of Saskatoon, took place on Saturday, August 6, 1988 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Regina. Rev.

Darwin Pollard officiated the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Tom Magnuson, accompanied by organist Gordon Glaicar. Scripture was read by Danny Donison. Bulletin attendants were Lori and Lisa Donison. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of white bridal satin, accented by lace appliques, iridescent sequins and hand-sewn pearls, The fitted bodice featured a Victoria neckline, sheer back with tiny pearl buttons and the full skirt swept into a cathedral-length train accented with embroidered lace and ruffles.

Complimenting her gown, Colleen chose a tiara headpiece of lace and seed pearls with blusher and pearl-trimmed fingertip veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of Japhet orchids, pink roses, white carnations, stephanotis, babys breath and pink satin ribbon. Matron of Honor was Laura Friesen, sister-in-law of the bride. The two I bridesmaids, friends of the bride, were Maria Cabral and Kathy Kontsiotis. The girls were dressed in identical cocktail length dresses of soft pink lace and satin featuring an A-line bodice with a sweetheart neckline, puffed sleeves and large satin bow attached to the drape of the gown.

They wore sprays of babys breath in their hair and carried colonial style bouquets of pink roses and carnations, a Cymbidium orchid and white freesia, babys breath, with pink satin ribbon. The groom wore a white tuxedo with tails accented with pink accessories and a boutonniere of two red roses with babys breath. He was attended by David Knoll, brother-in-law of the groom. Grooms- -men were Blaine Friesen, brother of the bride, and Cam Tetrault, friend of the groom, who all wore identical navy blue tuxedos with matching pink accessories. Their boutonnieres were white stephanotis.

Ushers were Michael Donison and Joe Brown. A dinner reception was held in Jubilee Theatre, Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts. The guest register was attended by Debbie Robinson and Diana Pearson. The arrival of the wedding party was announced by trumpeters 1 from the Regina Lions Junior Band under the direction of Robert Mossing. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Butch Donison.

Grace was of- fered by Wesley Fillo. Toast to the Bride was given by Doug Lee and Rich- ard Fillo gave a Toast to the Groom. During the evening, guests were entertained by the Mel-O-Tones, The World Champion Optimist Buffalo Gals, Comedian Bruce Pendelbury and the Sunshine Company. Following a honeymoon in Venezuela, Colleen and Alan are residing in Saskatoon. They wish to thank their parents, relatives and friends for making their day such a happy and memorable one.

Pastor Reinhold Propp officiated. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white lace cocktail length dress trimmed in satin, with fingertip veil. She carried a prayer book covered with yellow roses. The bride was attended by Mercida Holstein. The grooms attendant was Greg Missal.

Ushers were Troy Campbell and Tim Missal. Organist was Chellan Hoffman. A reception was held at Emperinghams, followed by a honeymoon in Alberta. Mr. and Mrs.
