Arthur Roscoe Goodnough of 1101 7:30 Grace Street, Moose Jaw, the passed away Friday, September 17, 1982 at the age of 85 years. Born at Early, Iowa in 1896, he came to Canada in 1910 to the Mossbank area with his may family and homesteaded Althere. He served in the First World War and upon his return, he farmed in the Ettington, Expanse, Courval and Girvan areas. He also operated a Red and White Store in Expanse. Mr.

Goodnough moved to Ceylon in 1949 and operated an implement dealership until moving to Moose Jaw in 1952 to farm until retiring in 1962. Predeceased by his wife, Katherine in December 1974; a daughter, Vera in 1960; three sons: Floyd in 1925, Edward in 1928 and Robert in 1937; one sister, Lottie Zarn and three brothers: Lyman, Maurice and Walter and his parents. Mark Smith of 193 Royal Gardens, Sherwood Park, Alta. passed away accidentally on Sunday, September 19, 1982 at the age of 17 years. Born in Moose Jaw he received his education at Calgary, Regina and graduated from high school in Edmonton in the spring of 1982. He had been farming with the family at Central Butte at the time of his death. Mark was a member of the Edmonton Flying Club and had been involved in Junior Hockey in Regina and Edmonton.

He is survived by his parents, Doreen and Melvin Smith, Sherwood Park; one brother, Cory at home; grandparents, Olga and Richard Smith, Calgary; Ester and Norman Wendt, Moose Jaw; greatgrandmother, Mrs. Marie Nyhagen, Moose Jaw; several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts and uncles. WRIGHT- -Albert Edward, passed away peacefully, September 19, 1982 in the Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, B.C. in his 74th year.
