Predeceased by her husband, Hermas in 1976; a daughter, Jeannine in 1968; four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Coupal is survived by four sons: Jean Paul (Dorothy) of Calgary, Gabriel (Vera) of Sedley, Gaston (Mary) of Regina, Bernard (Jeanne) of Sedley; one daughter, Mrs. A. (Lucille) Comeau of San Diego, California; IS grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a sister, Germaine Joanis of Vancouver, B.C. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by her grandson.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Predinchuk; brothers: Dan, Matt, Pete, Steve and George Predinchuk; sisters: Anne Strank and Katherine Kuprowski.

Mr. Pradinuk is survived by his loving wife, Susan; sons: Dan (Noreen) and Ray (Cheryl), both of Regina; daughters: Bernice (Jim) McGraw of Abbotsford, B.C., Georgia (Chuck) Hambley of Kamloops, B.C., Joyce (Gordie) Cowan of Vancouver, B.C.; ten grandchildren: Michaela (Mia), Jonathan, Jim, Judy, Patti, Joyce, Michael, Christine, Ray and Lara; six great grandchildren; brother, William Predinchuck of Foam Lake, numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Pradinuk was a Life Member of the N.W.M.P. Masonic Lodge 11 and was awarded a Fifty Year Jewel in 1986.

He was also a Fifty Year Member of. the Prince of Wales Royal Arch Chapter 27 and a member of the Cryptic Rite Sask. Council 6. In 1964 he was elected Thrice Illustrious Master of the Cryptic Rite and in 1973 he was appointed to the Office of Grand Steward. Mr.

Pradinuk was also a member of Was-cana Preceptory 51 and enioyed many years with the Wa Wa Shrine Chanters. He owned and managed the Quality Tea Room, Robinson Street and 13th Avenue for fifty-seven years and enioyed nothing more then visiting with his many customers. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 25, 1988 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. R.F.

VOGT March 22, 1988 William Vogt, late of 301 Douglas Ave. E. passed away at the age of 68 years. Predeceased by his mother Katherine, his step mother Rosina, two brothers; Father George and Alfred, sister Marie Eberle and a son Patrick. Mr.

Vogt is survived bv his wife Regina, four sons; Ken in Vancouver, Ron (Simone), Allan (Debbie), both of Regina, Darren at home, two daughters; Charlene and Janice both of Regina, his father Vincent Vogt of Regina, seven grandchildren; Jennifer, Greg, Jeremie, Kelly, Courtney, Justin and Cassie, a brother Henry (Helen) of Regina, two sisters Kay (Gordon) Holzap-fel, Regina, sister Loretta of Ontario. DERRICK, late of Regina and Laguna Beach, California, died at the age of 69 years. Predeceased by his mother, Derry; his sister, Joan and first wife, Florence, Mel is survived by his wife, Freda; daughter, Linda Derrick and her husband, Rob Watson, Winnipeg, Manitoba; his step-children: Allyson (Rod) Norrlsh, Strongfield, Saskatchewan, Scott (Gail) Smith, Regina, Saskatchewan; Bruce (Louise) Smith, Whitby, Ontario and grandchildren: Jaylen and Brendon Norrish and Tyler Smith.

Mel was born in Saskatchewan on January 16, 1919. He loined the Saskatchewan Civil Service In 1950 after graduating with Arts and Commerce degrees from the University of Saskatchewan. He spent the first eight years In the Budget Bureau and Treasury Department before becoming Administrator of Estates for the Mentally Incompetent In 1958. Three years later, at the request of then Health Minister, Allan Blakeney, he joined the Department of Health as an Administration Consultant and remained in the Health Department for almost 19 years, except for a brief period when he served as Deputy Minister of Northern Saskatchewan. While In the Department of Health, Mel held the positions of Executive Director of the Medical Care Insurance Commission, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Hospital Services Plan, Associate Deputy Minister of Health and finally, Deputy Minister of Health.

In 1979, Mel became the Saskatchewan Government Co-ordinator of Executive Programs and Government Organization in the Office of the Premier, a position he held until his retirement in 1982. During his 32 year career, he also served on the Boards of Directors of several hospitals, Crown Corporations and the Junior Concert Society. Upon retirement, he accepted a request from the World Health Organization to conduct a review of the Korean National Health Insurance Program. His dedication to health care continued as he served as a Medicare Counsellor for senior citizens in Orange County, California until his recent illness. He so enjoyed his leisure activities such as picture framing and piano tuning in recent years, as well as extensive travel with his wife.

Mel was a friend and colleague of many people. He was loved and cherished by his family. He said his life was likewise enriched by his family and friends. A Memorial Service of Praise and Remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 26, 1988 at 1 :00 P.m. In the HELMSING FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2210 College Avenue.
