It was really cold as Christmas this year. Miss Alice Fullwiler came from Minneapolis to spend the Christmas vacation with her parents. Mrs. Borneke returned to her home near Mankato on Tuesday after spending a couple of weeks with her sons, Fre.d and Otto. Cecelia Belair came home from Minneapolis on Wednesday to spend a two weeks' vacation at her home.

Wm. Swearinger and family and Grover Jensen and wife spent Christmas at the Wm. Weldon home in Greenbush. Ole Thompson's mother died last week at her home in southwestern Blue Hill. J.

Griffin aud family were entertained on Christmas day at the home of Hartman Camp. The Blue Hill Sunday school closed for the winter last Sunday. Chas. Groff went to Greenbush the first of the week to visit his daughter, Mrs. Belle Hones.

Mabel Belair returned home from the hospital at Princeton the first of this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. H.

Fullwiler and daughters, Alice and Clarihelle, spent Sunday at Fred Borneke's. Grover Jensen and wife arrived bome last Wednesday after spending their honeymoon in Iowa. They expect to make their home in Blue Hill. 3Ir. and Mrs.

VanKleek and family were entertained on Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Nels Herman, Mr. and Mrs. Theo.

Berg and Miss Nellie Lavelle came up from Minne-. apolis last Tuesday to spend the Christmas vacation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. Lavelle.

Mabel Norberg left on Saturday for Minneapolis to spend the winter with ber mother. J. H. Hutchinson and wife spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs.

VanKleek. Grover Taylor, wife and baby are visiting at C. W. Taylor's. Wood's baby has been seriously ill with pneumonia but is reported to be better.

Miss Mina Groff of Princeton spent Christmas day at her home in Blue Hill. Arthur Groff and wife entertained 'fig? ME All the Fine Dress Goods. All Ginghams and Percales. All Dishes and Crockery. Everything in Groceries.

John South Christmas. Miss Phrona Groff is visiting her uncle Chas. Groff. Mrs. Matt Johnson was called to Cedar Falls, Iowa, the first of the week by the serious illness of her brother-in-law, Mr.

Berg. The Christmas tree and- entertain- ment at the Blue Hill church was well attended, and the program was nicely rendered. Much praise is due Miss Lynch and her scholars. The entertainment and basket social at the Wheeler school house last Wednesday evening was well attended and a neat sum was secured from the sale of baskets, all of which went to the school district. THREE CORNERS. We heard that Ed Lambert and Clara Norby were married yesterday. We wish them much joy. They will live on the Lester King place. Eugene Cartwright sold his forty to Nelson King.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson King and family visited at Will Thomas' Sunday. We hear that George King is going to move on the Ira Colburn place. Mr.

and Mrs. Orin Hamilton and son, Claude, spent Christmas with Mrs. Hamilton in town. Frank Libby and family spent Christmas at Robert Byers'. Mr.

and Mrs. Will Thomas and son, Johnny, Nelson King and family, George King and family and Eugene Cartwright and family visited at Harry Lambert's Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Steeves and baby visited at Henry Steeves' Christmas.

E. church was largely attended. Mrs. Huldah Hubbard and family and Eric Rask attended the dance at John Mills' Christmas night. John Philo and Arthur Crook made a business trip to Foley Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hanson spent Christmas at the home of Jacob Jacobson in Freer. Malvin Daline, who has been under the weather is again able to be up arid around.

Geo. Hanson was a business caller at Joe Chivalier's Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Albin Nordstrom and family spent Christmas at the former's home.

R. Berglund went to Sauk Rapids Thursday to spend Christmas with relatives. Mrs. John Kruger went to EJk River Tuesday to visit relatives. Herman Olson, who his been working in a garage at Princeton came down to Zimmerman about a week agu and expects to spend the rest of the winter at Chas.

Iliff's. Mrs. W. Smith is visiting her daughter, Mrs. E.

H. Foley. Mr. Peabody of Oak Park visited his daughter, Mrs. Nash, a few days recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Hurtt and daughter Louise, Miss Storlie and Robert Brink attended the installation of the Masonic lodge at Princeton Monday night. They report a fine time. I.

F. Walker shipped stock from here Tuesday. Miss Storlie, who clerks at Nybergs store, went to her home at Mora to spend Christmas. She returned Monday morning. Miss Maud Bowles is on the sick list this week.

Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Foley attended a reunion of the Smith family which was held at the Kprae of Chas.

Thompson in Spencer Brook Christmas day. Every member of the family was present. OPSTEAD. Christmas was observed at the different churches here in a fitting manner. Although the weather was quite snappy a large number of people attended jjhe Christmasr exercises.
