CARPENTER Conrad Ralph Carpenter, age 74, late of Rouleau, passed away quietly in the Regina General Hospital on Friday, January 31, 1992, after a battle with cancer. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two sons: Kenneth (Gisele) of Buffalo Narrows, and David of Saskatoon; and one daughter, Kathleen (Richard) McAllister of Regina, seven grandchildren: Justin, Erika and Patrick Messner, Russell, Matthew, Heather and Shannon McAllister; three brothers: Raymond and Leonard of Regina, and Lou (Ruth) of Turner Valley, one sister, Esther (Robert) Anderson of Regina, Sask. Andrew was predeceased by his father, Alfred in 1955; his mother, Emma In 1985; his sister, Dorothy Landru In 1975. Andrew was born at Lebret, Sask. and took his schooling there. He later served overseas with the Field Artillery until 1946.

He worked at HyGrade Millwork for thirty eight years and spent several years with the Playground Hockey Association. As a result, he received a Certificate of Merit and Life Membership from the Saskatoon Hockey League as well as an award of service to Minor Hockey from the C.A.H.A. He was assitant coach for girls fastball for twelve years. His daughter, Kathy was on the Gold medal team at the Canada Games in 1973. He received an Award of Merit from the City of Saskatoon and an Achievement Award from the Province.

Andrew served many years on the Board of Directors for the Saskatoon Construction Association and received a Life membership. He was a member of St. Mark's and later St. Luke's Anglican Chirch and served on the Vestry at both. He was also a charter member of the Golden "K's" and also a Director.
