Three Italians from the Stick-ney-Weleh gang, their ages ranging from 12 to 20 years, stole the machine. They were arrested by the troopers and taken before Justice Joseph Peters of the town of Brant who suspended sentence when their parents promised to make good all the damages to the machine. Although the weather was rather cool, there was a big crowd out and each department practcally sold out early in the evening. The Fire Department Band furnished the music for the even ing.

Figures have not been turned in to but it is estimated the proceeds will run well over any previous sale. The committee in charge wish to extend thanks to all who helped in any way. Miss Hyla H.
