Heat trapped by the collectors will be stored in a storage tank. The mechanical solar system is complemented by a southern which acts as a passive collector of solar heat. The solar heating system is designed to supply 100 per cent of total space and water heating requirements. An off-peak, back-up electrical service will also be available.
