BARONS, Mr. Iroquois Joseph St. Barons West, Moose Jaw, passed away suddenly Friday, April 3, 1982, at the age of 66 years. Born at Estevan, Sask. 1916, he received his education at the Empire Public School and Technical High School in Moose Jaw.

He took employment with the C.P.R. in 1939 and then served with the Canadian Armed Services during World War 11, with the Saskatoon Light Infantry. Having served overseas, he returned to Moose Jaw following the war, to continue with the C.P.R. He married the former Evelyn Brevick in 1953 at Medicine Hat, but continued to work with the C.P.R. in Moose Jaw until retiring in 1978.

Mr. Barons was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the B.P.O. Elk's Lodge. Predeceased by his father in 1953, he is survived by his wife, Evelyn; his mother, Mrs. Maria Barons, Moose Jaw; three sisters: Mrs.

Nick (Helen) Wetaski, Moose Jaw, Mrs. Carmine (Agnes) Covello, St. Catharines, Ontario, Mrs. Raymond (Frances) Perkins; several nieces and nephews; one brother, Stanley and his wife, Trudy, Surrey, B.C. Funeral services will be held at the W.J.

Jones and Son Chapel, Wednesday, April 7, 1982 at 2 p.m. Rev. E.P.A. Timmons, Rector at St. John's Anglican Church will officiate.

Jones and Son Funeral Home, 106 Athabasca St. East, Moose Jaw. BJERKE-Funeral services were held in St. Paul's United Church March 29 for Hans Martin Bierke, resident of 419 3rd Ave. Assiniboia.

Reverend Ted Power officiated, interment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, in the spring. Mr. Bierke was in Oslo, Norway, December 29, 1902. The family immigrated to Seattle, Washington, in 1906. In 1908, they came to Moose Jaw and two years later took a homestead in the Willows district.

Hans married Violet Hanson at Assiniboia October 24, 1923. For 43 years he was a grain buyer for Federal Grain at Edgeworth, Willows, Sceptre and for seventeen years at Mazenod. They retired to Assiniboia in 1969. Predeceased by his mother and father; one son, Lloyd. He is survived by his wife, Violet of Assiniboia, two daughters, Mrs.

Pete Safronik (Marvel) of Melville, Mrs. Ed Zado (Kay) of Saskatoon; one son Vic of Lynn Lake, Manitoba; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Don Rolfe (Shirley) of Moose Jaw; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four sisters: Mrs. Maggie Anderson of Assiniboia, Mrs. Jessie Hanson of Assiniboia, Mrs.

Inga Scheurwater of Regina and Mrs. Hilma Campbell of Surrey, B.C. CSUBAK-April 5, 1982, John Csubak, late of Cupar and Distric Nursing Home, and formerly of Lestock, passed away at of 77 years. Predeceased by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth; three brothers and one sister, Mr. Csubak is survived by two sons: John and his wife, Evelyn of Fort Qu'Appelle, Alex and his wife, Linda of Lestock; six grandsons; two granddaughters; one greatgranddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass wil be held on Wednesday, April 7, 1982 at 10:30 a.m. in Mary, Queen of All Hearts R.C. Church, Lestock, with Fr. T. Grohs, the Celebrant.

ELEK-On Friday, April 2, 1982, Mr. Frank Andrew Elek, of 642 Retallack Street, Regina, passed away suddenly at the age of 42 years. Predeceased by his three grandparents, and one brother i in infancy. He is survived by his parents, Frank and Helen of Regina; one son, Frank Jr. of Regina; five sisters: Mrs.

Malleen Veroba, Fox Creek, Alta, Mrs. Anne Daykin, Delta, B.C., Mrs. Lillian Ledinski, Prince George, B.C., Mrs. Julie Nagy, Calgary, and Debbie of Regina. Three brothers: Louis, Andy and Gary all of Regina, and his grandfather, Mr.

Louis Daku, of Kipling, Sask. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Music was a big part of Frank's life and he enioyed the fun times spent playing his guitar with his family. He will be lovingly remembered for this. He was well liked and a friend to all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 1982, at 11:00 a.m. from the Helmsing-Forsberg Funeral Chapel (2210 College Avenue), with the Rev. J. Balzer officiating. Interment to follow in Regina Memorial Gardens.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. from the funeral chapel. (Phone 522-7678). FIGGITT-Elsie Jane of Balcarres, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 1982, at the Balcarres Union Hospital at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 1976; and a son, Walter in 1943. Mrs. Figgitt is survived by four daughters: Mrs.

V. (Elsie) Storts, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. J. (Molly) Blayone, Balcarres, Mrs. D.

(Winnifred) Henley, Balcarres, and Mrs. R. (Betty) Grams, Weyburn; four sons: Wilfred, Sardis, B.C., John and James, Balcarres, and Alexander, Neudorf; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 1982, at the St. Paul's Anglican Church, Balcarres, at 2 p.m.

William S. E. Inglis in his 95th year of 3rd Ave. N. Saskatoon, at his residence on Thursday, April 1, 1982.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 5, 1982 at 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home conducted by Rev. N. Stewart Dingwall. Memorial donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

Surviving are two daughters: Hallie of Regina and Margaret of Saskatoon. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 1961. Rev. Inglis was born in Newbigging, Musselburgh, Scotland in 1887. He came to Canada in 1911 to settle in Manitoba.

Rev. Inglis graduated from Manitoba College and received his Bachelor of Divinity degree from the Presbyterian Church in many communities in the Western Provinces including Windermere Valley, B.C. and Magrath, Alberta. In Saskatchewan he served the Church in Kedleston, Cadillac, Earl Grey, Radville, Broadview, Maryfield, Sintaluta and Boharm. He retired to make his home in Saskatoon in 1957.

Rev. Inglis joined the Masonic Order in 1919 and was a past master of Ashlar Exapo Lodge No. 8 A.F. A.M. G.R.S.

He joined the Quatuor Coronati Lodge No. 2076 London, England in 1966. He was a member at large of the Independent Order of Forresters having joined that Order in 1918. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon. DEATH NOTICE KERR-On Sunday, April 4, 1982, Daniel Curtis Kerr, dearly beloved son of Mr.

and Mrs. Harry Kerr, 71 Dickinson Regina, passed away at the age of seven months. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Frederick. Daniel is survived by his parents, Harry and Jean; two sisters: Janet and Karen; one brother, Michael; his grandparents: Archie and Helen Kerr of Yorkton, and his grandmother, Mrs. Dora Boege of Regina, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 1982 at 3:00 p.m. from the Helmsing-Forsberg Funeral Chapel (2210 College with the Rev. Rodney Francis officiating. Interment to follow in the Riverside Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

KONKIN-On Saturday, April 3, 1982, Fred Konkin, late of Wadena, passed away at the age of 61 years, after a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Elizabeth. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline; son, Fred and daughter-inlaw Elaine, and granddaughter Melanie, of Bienfait; daughter, Teresa, and son-in-law Archie Melnychuk, and granddaughter Jodi of Regina; one brother, Alex of Kamsack; four sisters: Nettie Dutcheshen, of Kamsack, Helen Rilkoff, of Regina, Vera Yarie of Kelvington, and Alice Grant, of Sorento, B.C.; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Fred was employed by the Retail Cooperative System for the past 18 years and at the time of his death he was General Manager of the Wadena Co-op. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends. Following cremation in Regina, the funeral service will be held Thursday, April 8, 1982, at 1:30 p.m. in the Kamsack United Church, with the Rev. Dean officiating.

Interment will be at Riverview cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Saskatchewan Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Andrychuk Funeral Chapel, Kamsack. (Phone 542-2231). LUCAS-On Saturday, April 3, 1982, Mr.

Kenneth Lucas, of 2249 Pasqua Street, Regina, passed away at the age of 34 years. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, one son Ryan at home, his parents, Gabe and Annie, of Lestock, one sister Judy Faye, Wishart, four brothers, Dennis, Thompson, Roy, Leross, John and Wayne, Lestock, his grandmother, Mrs. Rose Lucas, Lestock, numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 1982, at 1:00 p.m. from the St.

Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, Lestock, Sask, with the Rev. T. Grohf celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Elizabeth Church cemetery.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Katie, and daughters: Anne Fines, Regina, and Irene Doyle, San Francisco, California.

He was very proud of his grandchildren, and Granpy Bill will always be lovingly remembered by Irvin, Shelley, Randall, Leslie, Eugene, Stephanie, and Jill. Bill Malyk was born in the Ukraine and came to Regina as a young man. Until his retirement he was employed by the CPR. (Phone 522-7678) MOORE-April 4, 1982, Harriet Moore, late of Cupar and District Nursing Home and formerly of Southey, passed away at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband, Frank; two sisters: Frances and Mary; two brothers: George and Charles.

Mrs. Moore is survived by a son, Gordon and his wife Hilda of Southey and a granddaughter, Audrey and her husband, Frank. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 1982, at 2:00 p.m. at the Southey Baptist Church with Rev. M.

Arrangements in care of the Lee Funeral Home, Regina and Cupar John Lipp Funeral Director 1 DEATH NOTICE PATTEN -April 4, 1982, William Alfred Patten, late of 5100 Dewdney Ave, Regina, passed away at the age of 67 years. Mr. Patten was a long-tirne Mason and had served in the Air Force. For the last 13 years he had been an instructor at the Saskatchewan Technical Institute. Predeceased by his father, Mr.

Patten is survived by his wife, Lila; one son, Greig of Regina; three grandchildren: Kelly, Melanie and Michael; his mother, Edith Klassen of Calgary; one brother, Russell Williams of Calgary. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 1982, at 2:00 p.m., from the Chapel of the Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Ave. with Rev. R. Anderson, officiating.

Ada F. Proctor of Gray, Sask. and formerly of Readlyn, Sask. passed away at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husband, Jim in January 1974; her parents; three sisters; four brothers in England and her son-inlaw, John on August 1, 1980.

Mrs. Proctor is survived by her only daughter, Mrs. Neva Lafoy of Gray; two granddaughters: Pat (and Cliff) Mintern, Kamloops B.C., Neta (and Jim) Monson of Milestone, four great-grandchildren: Kelly and Krista Mintern, Kara and Lindsay Monson; one sister, Winnie O' Brien Scarborough, England; as well as several nieces and nephews in England. Born in London, England, Mrs. Proctor came to Canada in 1912 to the Rouleau district.

She married Jim Proctor on November 30, 1912 and homesteaded in the Readlyn district where she lived until 1951, retiring then in Gray where her only daughter, Neva lived. In her younger years she was most happy caring for the sick and knitting for the Armed Forces. Later in life Mrs. Proctor loved gardening, tending her flowers, caring for animals and above all being close to her family and friends. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 1982 at 11:00 a.m.

SAAL-Monday, April 5, 1982, Mrs. Katherine Saal, age 81 years, late of Rouleau, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her husband, Anton Janvary 9, 1969. Mrs. Saal is survived by one son, Roy and daughter-in-law Eleanor; three grandchildren: Ron and his wife Karen, Debbie and her husband Lorne Wilson, all of Rouleau, Linda and her husband Mike Benoit of Grand Prairie, Alberta; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

SCHELL- Sunday, April 4, 1982, Mr. Herman Schell, of 1138 12th Avenue, Regina, passed away at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his parents and two brothers, he is survived by his loving companion Hilda Triffo, one step-son Roger, and four step-grandchildren: Christopher, Darrin, Scott, and Sammy; his step-sister Mrs. Gerda Tapler in Germany, and his numerous friends in Regina and surrounding district.
