He was a parishioner of St.

Cecilia's R.C. Church, Englewood. Surviving is a sister, Marion Woznay in Florida. Mass will be said Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St.

Cecilia'a Church, with burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Tena-fly. Arrangements are by Quirk Funeral Home, Tenafly, Tuesday. Before retiring in 1983, she was a clerk at the Bergon County Courthouse, Hackensack. She was a member of the Ridgefield Park chapter of the AARP, the Ridgefield Park Woman's Club, and G. Alberque Columbiette's Council 2229.

Surviving are a son, Robert of Secaucus; two sisters, Alice Moody of Ridgefield Park and Grace Hansen of North Bergen, and three grandchildren. Her husband, John, died in 1976, and a daughter, Joan, died in 1984. Mass will be said Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis R.C.

AUGUSTA RANKE DAVID, 85, of Lodi, formerly of Union City and Brooklyn, died Wednesday. Surviving are her husband, Walter a son, Joseph R.

Mongelli of Fort Lee; two daughters, Rita Mongelli of Fort Lee and Caroline Cimmino of Garfield; seven grandchildren, and Bix great-grandchildren. A son, William David, died in April. Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield, with burial in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

CAROLINE ANNA DUERR FIELDING, 92, of Ram-' sey died Wednesday. She was a member of the Leisure Club, the Senior Citizens, and the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, all in Ramsey. Surviving is a niece, Muriel Morigi of Englewood. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey, with burial in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn.

Visiting is tonight from 7 to 9. CHARLES BENJAMIN FLETCHER, 89, a lifelong resident of Paterson, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1965, he was a clerk at Barnert Memorial Hospital, Paterson. He was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Paterson. Surviving are three nieces, Dorothy Babb of Wayne, Barbara Lime of Flemington, and Bertha Tintle of Hawley, Pa.

His wife, Jessie, died in 1953. A graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, with arrangements by Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne. VERNON GALL 71, of Englewood died Tuesday. Before retiring five years ago, he was a bus dispatcher for the Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Authority and a member of the Transport Worker's Union.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Richardson Gall; a son, Vernon Jr. of Teaneck; a daughter, Jennie Escamilla of River Edge, and three grandchildren. A memorial service is PASQUALE AMICOSANTE, 88, of RidKefteld, formerly of Fairview and North Bergen, died Wednesday, Born in Italy, he came to this country in 1920. Before retiring 18 yean ago, he was a laborer with the Bergen County Road Department for 18 years. Surviving are his wife, Jennie Rosuillo Amicosante; a daughter, Christine Romano of Fort Lee; a son, Ridgefield Deputy Police Chief Vincent Amicosante; a brother, Joseph in California; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

A daughter, Angelina Amicosante, died in 1985. Mass will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's R.C. Church, Ridgefield, with entombment in Fairview Mausoleum.

Visiting will be tonight from 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield. BETTY CAPLAN, 80, of Bergenfield died Tuesday. Before retiring, she worked with the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union, New York City, and was a member of the Workmen's Circle of Bergen County. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is today at 10 a.m. at Baron Hirsch Ceme- tery, Staten Island, with arrangements by Wien Wien, Englewood. Donations to the Workmen's Circle Home, 3155 Grace Bronx, N.Y. 10469, would be appreciated. LeROY CARMAN, 81, of Wayne, formerly of Pater-son, died Wednesday.

Before retiring in 1969, he was an electrician with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 102, Peterson, for more than 50 i years. He was a member of Packanack Community Church, the Golden Agers, the Golden Key of Mountain View, the Packanack Lake Leisure Club, and the Pack-! anack Country Club, all in Wayne. Surviving are a neph-J ew, John Garty of Atlanta, and two nieces, Annabelle Minchak of Rochester, N.Y., and Mae Gilbride of Rose-! dale, N.Y. His wife, Louise Hagele Carman, died in 1986. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m.

ANNE CATHERINE CARROLL, 22, of Little Falls died Tuesday. She was a 1988 graduate of Lock Haven (Pa.) State College and a 1984 graduate of Passaic Valley High School, Little Falls.

She was a parishioner of Holy i Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. Surviving are her par-', ents, Charles and Patricia Roessner Carroll of Little Falls; two brothers, Charles of Ringwood and Paul of Little Falls; two sisters, Laura Carroll and Patricia Car-( roll, both of Little Falls; and her maternal grandfather, George Roessner of Bloomfield. Mass will be said Satur- day at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Church, with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

ROBERT A. CHAPMAN, 85, of Elmwood Park died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1971, he was a machinist for Curtiss-Wright Aeronautical Wood-Ridge, for 35 years. He was a member of the Wright Retirees, the Wright Social Club, the Golden Age Club, Saddle Brook, and the Elmwood Park chapter of the AARP. Surviving are his wife, Teresa Finnegan Chapman, and a sister, Dorothy Bonstell in New York.

Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

HELEN REAGAN RACKLEY, 90, of Neptune, for-merly of Bayonne, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1964, she was manager of The Book Shelf, Bayonne.

She was a parishioner of R.C. Church of the Holy Innocents, Neptune. Surviving are two sons, Father Denys Rack ley of the Carthusian Order in Pleterje, Yugoslavia, and the Rev. Donald C. Rackley of Neptune; and a daughter, Sister Jean Marie Rackley of the Missionary SiBterg of the Immaculate Conception of Peace House in West Paterson.

Her husband, Arthur died in 1930, and a daughter, Gloria Chinery, died in 1976. Mass will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Innocents, with burial in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Surviving are two sons, Warren in Arkansas and Henry Jr. of Paterson; six daughters, Nonie, Josie, Shelly, Tondeler, Catina, and June, all of Paterson; his mother, Hortense Ruffins, two sisters, Ollie Costen and Linda Allen, and two brothers, William and Louis, all of Hackensack, and seven grandchildren. Visiting is today from 5 to 9 p.m. ANTHONY THOMAS SCHEPIS, 75, of Rochelle Park died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a driver in Rochelle Park. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park.

Surviving are a brother, Eugene in California, and two sisters, Minerva Picardi of Saddle Brook and Audrey Hynes in California. Her husband, Howard died in 1973.

Before retiring in 1972, he was an engineer for the New York City Transit Authority and worked for Consolidated Edison New York City. He was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church, Matawan, and Whitehead Masonic Lodge 184, Cliffside Park. Surviving are two sons, Frederic of Manasquan and Phillip R.

of Morgan-ton, N.C.; a daughter, Ethel Adams of Sundance, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. His wife, Marion died last year, and a brother, Edwin, is also deceased. ELIZABETH C. STONEWALL McGIMPSEY, 84, of Sarasota, formerly of Rutherford and Jersey City, died Monday. Before retiring in 1969, she worked for New York Telephone Co. for more than 25 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Surviving are a son, Robert of Clifton; a daughter, Joan Conley of Rutherford; six grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren.

Her husband, Harold, died in 1947. Arrangements were by Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford, with burial in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. PAUL JAMES McKOWEN, 80, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson and Prospect Park, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1976, he was a machinist for the Morrison Machine Paterson, for 35 years. Previously, he was a stationary fireman at various Paterson silk mills and was an aircraft ground observer in Wayne during World War II.

He was a former volunteer fireman for Pompton Falls Fire Company 3, Wayne. Surviving are five sons, Joseph of Peoria, George E. of West Milford, Ronald P. of Ringwood, Robert C. of Wayne, and Jack H.

of Pequannock; two sisters, Bess Walton of Delmont, and Rebecca Ames of Sebring, 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. His wife, Elizabeth Morgan McKowen, died in 1985, and a son, Clyde died in 1986. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne, with burial in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visiting will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

MARIE M. MCLAUGHLIN, 79, of Dumont died Tuesday. Before retiring, she was a telephone operator for F.A.O. Schwartz, Manhattan, for 30 years. She was a member of the Dumont Senior Citizens Club; the Purga-torian Society of Immaculate Conception R.C.

Church, the Bronx; and the Catholic Daughters of America, Dumont. She was a parishioner of St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill. There are no immediate survivors.

Surviving are his wife, Anne Myrick O'Brien; his mother, Suzanna Woods of New York City; a daughter, Patricia Brophy of Toms River; a sister, Suzanna Strongman of Cherry Hill, and two grandchildren. MARGARET R. COGAN GAUL, 92, of Ridgewood died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1963, she was a teacher in the Paterson school system for 42 years. She was graduated from the Paterson Normal School. Surviving is a daughter, Margaret Ralston of Mahwah.

Her husband, Leo, died in 1942. Mass will be said Friday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Mahwah, with burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Arrangements are by Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

He was a member of the Exxon Annuitants Club of Northern New Jersey and the Independent Tankers Association of New York. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW in Somer-ville, and the Midland Park Garden Club. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Schroeder Griffith; a daughter, Karen Sonderburg of Glen Rock; a son, Richard of Midland Park; two brothers, Daniel and Charles, both of Arlington, two sisters, Ruth Spinney and Margaret Griffith, both of Jonesboro, and two grandchildren. H. Olth- Park, formerly of North Bergen and Weehawken, died Josephine Bianco Anzaldi; Passaic committeewoman Josephine Bianco Anzaldi, a Passaic County Republican committeewoman, died Wednesday. She was born in the Bronx and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton. Mrs. Anzaldi was a Republican committeewoman in the 2ndWard, 2nd District of Passaic County.

She was a member of the Clifton Republican Club and was active in the Clifton School 1 PTA. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Passaic, where she was a member of the Social Action Committee, the Welcomers, and the Friends of St. Anthony's.

Surviving are her husband, Vincent; three sons, Clifton Councilman James Anzaldi, Ross, and Salva-tore, a daughter, Mary Jo Anzaldi, and a brother, Paul Bianco, all of Clifton, and seven grandchildren. LINDA MULDER KNECHTLE, 37, of Paterson died Monday. Surviving are her husband, George of Paterson; her mother, Shirley Mulder of Paterson; two sisters, Joseph G. Tyrone, 1 10, of Closter Joseph G. Tyrone of Closter died Tuesday. He 110 years old.

Before retiring, he was a manager of a hotel InJ Columbus, Ohio. On his 100th birthday, he recieved the Closer' Good Citizen Award and a state Senate resolution ofj congratulations. Surviving are his daughter, Grace Hughes of two grandchildren, and four great-grandchibj dren. His wife, Caroline, died in 1974. Mass will be said Friday at 9:30 a.m.

PASTOR, 67, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Saddle Brook, died Tuesday. Before retiring six years ago, he was a custodian for the Saddle Brook Board of Education for 15 years. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post 4591 and James Scarr American Legion Post 106, both in Hasbrouck Heights. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights.
