BOYD On Monday, December 25, 1978, Mrs. Daisy Edith Boyd of Pioneer Village, Regina, passed away at the age of 95 years. Mrs. Boyd was predeceased by her husband W. Cecil and two brothers.

DOUGLAS- Tuesday, January 2, 1979, Mrs. Gladys Christina Douglas of 1451 Grace Regina, passed away at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by her husband, William in July, 1973, one brother and two sisters, Mrs. Douglas leaves to mourn three step-sons, Ian Douglas, Calgary, Alta, Arthur Douglas, Brandon, and George Douglas, in B.C, one brother, William Henry Herman, San Diego, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Wyatt, Regina, Sask, also several nieces and nephews.

Ronald Gatenby, late of 5-477 Lorne and formerly of Regina Beach, passed away at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his dearly beloved wife. Merle in May, 1978, the late Mr. Gatenby is survived by his loving daughter, Mrs. May Solinger, Regina, three sons, Jim, Edmonton, Bob, Regina, Pat, Dodsland, also eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Gatenby was born in Bridlington, England on August 8, 1893. He moved to Canada at the age of sixteen. He homesteaded in Alberta and in 1924 moved to the Disley district. A memorial service will be conducted from the HelmsingForsberg Funeral Chapel, 2210 College Ave.

THORLAKSON- January 1, 1979, Ingimarr Julius Thorlakson, late of 1958 Athol Street, passed away at the age of 64 years. Predeceased by his wife, Netty in 1953, a son Wayne in 1944, three brothers, William, Christopher and Roger and a sister, Bertha, Mr. Thorlakson is suvived by a son Harold, Regina, two daughters, Josephine Malinowski, Wynyard and Sylvia Bender, Kandahar, a granddaughter, Catherine, four grandsons, Richard. Ronald, Randy and Danny, a brother Valdi, Wynyard, a half-brother, Dan, West Burnaby, B.C, a sister Inga Matheson, Gimli, and a half-sister, Mrs. Frank Weakly, Winnipeg.

Arrangements in care of Lee Funeral Home, Regina and Cupar. John Lipp, Funeral Director. WHYTE-Burton Ross Whyte, 69, late of 33363 Third Avenue, died December 24 in Mission Memorial Hospital extended care unit. Mr. Whyte, formerly of North Vancouver, was born in Hastings County, Ontario.

An electrician with Burrard Shipyard, he retired and moved to Mission in 1974. He was a member of the NWMP Masonic Lodge No. 11 of Regina. A memorial service was held December 29 at 2:30 p.m. in Mission Baptist church with Rev.

C. Savage officiating. Mr. Whyte, one of 11 children, five brothers and five sisters, was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Olive: two daughters, Jacqueline Buchan of Regina and Dolores Boyce of Mission; three brothers, Harvey Whyte of Belleville.

Jack Whyte and Ronald Whyte of Bancroft; two sisters, Lola Davidson of Oshawa and Hester Wilson of Boulton, all in Ontario; nine grandchildren and one great grandson. YEE-Tuesday, December 26, 1978, Mr. Yee Lung, age 94 years, late of 1365 Rae Regina. Predeceased by his wife, Lee Mie, Mr. Yee is survived by one son, Yee Wai Hing, one daughter, four grandsons, three granddaughters, seven great-grandsons and ten great-granddaughters, all of the United States.
