Gustin, a sixfoot, eightinch centreman with the Miller Marauders of the legiate Basketball League, has been playing basketball for three'years at Miller and helped the Marauders win the Saskatchewan 4A cage title. Gustin, a native of Yugoslavia, was elected top centre on the city first all-star team and broke a city record when he scored 53 points in one game. The 19-year-old Gustin at. tended St. Joseph School prior to going to Miller and will enroll in the school of physical education at Mary College.

He had been having trouble making the welterweight 147-pound limit despite his five-foot-five stature and this led to the decision to turn middleweight, the division he fought in as an amateur. "1 was perhaps a little too heavy," said Paduano, saying his best weight is about 155. He said he was "100-per-cent" de. cided to stick to the middleweight division.
