Malcom Brown of Coraopolis officiated at the double ring rites. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben E. Chambers, 705 Pershing Ellwood City, and granddaughter of Mr.

and Mrs. E. 0. Raney, County Line New Castle. Mr.

and Mrs. John Suwak 55 Fairmont Washington, are the parents. Ben Chambers escorted his daughter to the church altar. The bride was lovely in a gown of ivory silk brocade and a matching Dior bow of brocade held her veil of ivory illusion. She carried a cascade of white chrysanthemums to the altar as her bridal bouquet.

Miss Marilyn Cassidy of Pittsburgh as maid of honor wore beige satin with bridesmaids Miss Eleanor Lynott, Mt. Lebanon, Miss Carol Suwak, sister of the bridegroom of Washington, and Miss Joan Pronesti of Boswell, Pa. Each beige satin gown was matched with a Dior bow and their flowers were fall, autumn- shaded blooms. Robert J. Suwak.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mrs. Ira Cline, 340 Greenwood Weirton, and the late James Channing. and her fiance is the son of Mrs. Theodore Warnock, RD 5. and the late Mr.

Warnock. The open ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Me morial Baptist Church in Weirton, with Rev. Charles Thorman officiating.

No formal invitations have been issued. Horizon Society CUB lad w'ho loves his leopards is Danny Livingston, cuddling up with two of the jungle cubs at an animal store in New York. Danny didn't know he loved the creatures until he visited the store which sells live animals to people with a penchant for off-beat pets. These two were priced at $298 each. Willowbrook Club Studies Arranging The Willowbrook Garden Club studied arranging at a recent meeting in the home of Mrs.

Clyde Copper. Old Pittsburgh with Mrs. Roland Peden as the guest speaker. Mrs. Earl Speice presided and devotions were offered by Mrs.

Barb Bintrim. Roll call response was naming what each member grew best in her garden this summer. A ways and means event has been planned for Oct. 23. Mrs.

Harold Dickson aided the hostess in serving refreshments. The club will meet again Oct, 12. MAHONING VALLEY CIVIC CLUB MEETS The Mahoning Valley Civic Club met recently in the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Denny for the first fall meeting.

Members discussed their summer and M. L. Ailey conducted a ways and means project. Mrs. Margaret Kelso assisted with serving.

Dr. and Mrs. Wallace Byers and children, Metairie, and Mr. and Mrs. Burrier, Frederick, were guests.

Oakwood Garden Slates Active Fall An active fall season was planned by the Oakwood Garden Club when members met recently in the home of Mrs. Paul Allen Fording with Mrs.

Paul Allen Sr. as co-hostess. Mrs. Bert Shane and Mrs. Richard Peden reported the September meeting of the Garden Council of Lawrence County.

Mrs. Robert Kitchen, chairman of the School Flower Show Committee detailed the schedule of the event in Union Memorial Elementary School. The 22nd anniversary of the club will be observed Oct. 15 with a 6:30 p.m. dinner meeting in the Tavern, New Wrilmington.

Mrs. Paul Allen Mrs. James Glass and Miss Estella Hoye are i charge of arrangements. The nominating committee will include Miss Elizabeth Taylor, Mrs. Dale Shoaf and Mrs.

Laurence Hemenway. Project time was conducted by Mrs. Peden, who demonstrated the assembling of a crescent arrangement. best results from this was given for roll call. Refreshments were served by the hostess at the close of the meeting.

CONSTANCE CLASS AT ELLENBERGERS' Mrs. Carl Ellenberger was host to the members of the Nellie Constance Bible Class in her home. 412 Norwood Ave. Tuesday, with 24 attending. Mrs.

Robert Ellenberger and Mrs. William Gamble had prayers with Mrs. George Jones reading the Scriptures. Duets were offered by Mrs. Avery Rigby Sr.

and Mrs. Robert D. Hanna and Mrs. Carl Ellenberger and daughter, Marjory. Miss Nancy Mack, missionary to Viet Nam was the speaker and showed scenes of her work.

Following closing prayer by Miss Murl Smith, refreshments were served by the hostess aided by Mrs. Hanna and Mrs. Kenneth Lutz. Mahoningtown Club Combines Workshop, Meet The Mahoningtown Garden Club combined a workshop study, luncheon and a business meeting Tues-j day in the home of Mrs. T.

M.j Shaffer, Euclid Ave. The workshop, planned and arranged by Mrs. J. H. Bingham and the club finance committee, was held at 10 a.m.

with the luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Mrs. E. M. Jones assisted the hostess.

Mrs. Paul Bender presided after lunch and Mrs. Shaffer gave a report on the recent Garden Council meeting. The Mahoningtown Club will be in charge of the bazaar booth at the flower show to be presented Friday by the Lawrence County Garden Council. The club will be host for the October meeting of the Garden Council.

Mrs. W. H. Leight presented the topic The second item on the program was presented by Mrs. J.

B. Comstock, With Perrotta-Lepore Engagement Told The engagement of Miss Patricia Louise Perrotta, to Anthony R. Lepore has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony J.

Perrotta, 203 S. First St. Mrs. Louis Lepore, 207 S. First and, the late Mr.

Lepore are parents of the prospective bridegroom. Miss Perrotta is an alumna of New Castle High School and a graduate of th 1959 class of the New Castle Hospital School of Nursing. She is presently on the operating room staff at Castle Hospital. After graduating from New Castle High School, Mr. Lepore served two years with the U.S.

Army and is now attending New Castle Business College. He is employed by Johnson Bronze Co. Wedding plans of the couple are indefinite. Sig Marr Club The Sig Marr Club met recently with Mrs. Carol Fulkerson, Cleaveland as hostess.

Cards were the pastime, and a door prize went to Miss Shirley Warso. Mrs. Dorothy Black and Mrs. Patty List aided the hostess. Mrs.
