Lewis Browne Will Address Century Club Well Known Author Will Discuss Subject "Ate Dark Ages Returning?" Lewis Browne, scholar, author and lecturer, will speak at the Century Club tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.

The subject of the lecture will be "Are the Dark Ages Returning?" With a background of world wide travel, and a profound knowledge I history, Mr. Browne has made a critical study of world affairs. In hi lecture, which is based on a history of modern times soon to be published, he analyzes present conditions and factors which could lead to the annihilation of modern civilization, and then discusses means of combating these destructive forces. Mr. Browne is recognized as preeminent in the Intellectual life of his generation.

His historical and biographical works are read throughout the world, and many serve as text books in colleges and universities here and abroad. According to an official survey made by the American Library Association, "This Believing World," his work on comparative religions, is the most popular book on religion in the libraries of North America.
