VALLEY VIEW 596-8866 WING Mrs. Leung Lin. ol Kamloops. passed away peacefully at her home on November 4, 1990. in her hundredth year.

Mrs Wing was born in Hoy Ping. Canton, China in June 1891 She married Eng Wing in 191 1 and came to Kamloops in 1913 where she has lived ever since She was predeceased by her husband Eng Wing in February 1971. Mrs. Wing leaves to mourn her passing, four sons; Peter (Kim) in Kamloops and John (Betty), James (June) and David (Lila) ail of Vancouver and three daughters; May in Richmond. Lily (Joe Wong) in Calgary and Jean at home, fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wing devoted her life to the welfare of her family, in the early years she devoted much of her energy to the Chinese Methodist Mission later the United Church Chinese Mission. With the closing of the Mission, she spent much ot her time visiting the family in B.C. and Alberta. Reverend Don Waldon and Reverend Peter Chau conducted the funeral service in Ihe Kamloops United Church, 4th and St.

Fortin of Chilliwack. Laurence was an outstanding person and was loved dearly by his wife, family, relatives and friends, as well as a respected member of the business community. He had a marvelous zest lor life, taking an avid interest in the people and things that touched his life. He loved lo read, enjoy the outdoors immensely travelled with his wife Joy to many parts ol the world, and was a talented musician, versatile with many musical instruments. Laurence was with thelirst troops liberating Holland during the Second World War, at the time serving with the Canadian Army Band.

Laurence was a member of the Chilliwack Christian Businessmen Committee and Carman United Church. He co-founded C.R. Fortin and Son Ltd. (Fortin's Auto Supply Ltd.) in 1946. He was presented the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship by long-time friend and Rotarian Dave Kirk.

His colleagues nationwide elected him Jobber of the Despite his many successes.
