The front wing, two stories high, houses most of the 65 class rooms, library, study rooms, and offices. The ground floor, is de voted to the Junior-high depart ment, grades 7 through 9, with the senior-high school on the second AH students in grades through 12 in the entire Frontier District will be in attendance In this building. In the remainder of the building are a l.ooo Seat auditorium, a E3 seat cafeteria, and a 35' 75 swimming pool.

The fully equipped gymnasium may -be divided by electrically operated partitions and Includes seating for 1,000 specta Also included are two exer else rooms, the music, health, and homemaking suites, the industrial arts department, and the audio Visualunlt. Many of the ujilts or suites have been designed for particular -func tions. The commercial suite has rooms' for typewriting, business practice, as well as other business subjects, while the health suite in eludes art examination room, of flees for nurses and a dental hy- gienist. guidance suite con sisting of two consultation rooms and conference room will be lo cated on the second floor. Other special rooms are mechanical drawing, choral, instrumental, and science.

The last consist of gen eral science, biology, physics, and chemistry, each with its own labo ratory and storage facilities. The audio-visual unit includes a small film library, a control room, and a theatre-like assembly room which will also double as a studio. The homemaking suite will include sewing and cooking laboratories, a living and dining room area, and a home-crafts room. Special provisions have been made for woodworking, electricity, ceramics, graphic arts, transportation, textiles, and. metal working in the industrial arts unit.

The heating plant has been located in a twenty-bus garage adjacent to the school. The New Elementary School Will be on 27 acre of the old Plnehurst golf course. The building will be located on Fairway Court between the Lake Shore Cut Off and the Old Lake Shore Road. This site will provide year-round playground facilities for both the small and the older children, including ball diamonds and play ground equipment. Architect Gordon Hayes has planned the unit for 600 students in kindergarten through the sixth grade with two separate wings projecting from a common corridor making the gymnasium, and auditorium easily accessible to both units.

An outstanding feature of the classrooms is that each is a self contained" unit with cup boards, working surfaces, and a sink located in the room's "activity In the primary grades, kindergarten through third, toilet facilities are provided in each class room, Facilities are 2 Kindergarten Rooms, 9 Primary Classrooms, 9 Intermediate Rooms, a Library, a Health Suite, Administrative and Conference Rooms, an Auditorium seating 350, a Cafeteria seating 200, and a Gymnasium 52' 72' with locker and "shower rooms. Units such as the gymnasium and the auditorium have been so designed that they can be used by adult groups or for evening youth programs without opeTting the en tire building. It is proposed that all students in kindergarten through grade six In the Lake View Shaleton area and all students in grade four through grade six in the Amsdell Wanakah area will attend the new school. Frontier district residents are-f warned that all persons must be registered In advance in order to vote on the bond issue, Mar. 27.

All persons who did not sign the registration statement at either the last annual meetinar Mav 6. lt52 or thevspeclal meeting of Aug. 15,, 1952 must personally register prior to Mar. 27 at their district school house. Registration days are Mar.

13 and 14 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Resi dents are urged to check on either of those days to make certain they are correctly registered. Places of registrations by district follow: Dist. 4, Shaleton School; 5, Wanakah School; 7, Big Tree School; 8, Blasdell High School; 9, Amsdell School; 10, Athol Springs School; 12, Lake View School; 13, Woodlawn High School.
