April 3, 1952 Midget Ball loop Opens Registration At Son This Week youngsters between the age. of in and 15 years of age. wishing to baseball this summer are requested to register at once. Two leagues are planned for the coming season. One league will for boys 10 to 12 years of age and another for those-13-15. The spon sor is the HamDurg miogei Associations-made up of pa- rents of the players of last year and other interested men of the community. All boys residing In Hamburg Central School District 1, or In the Hamburg parochial school districts are eligible to join the midgets. AH that is necessary at this time Is that each boy interested 'fill out the application and send it along with $2.00 to the SUN or to one of the officers.

Applications should be in on or before April loth. League officials are hoping to have the services of Edmund -U Bach and Walter Walter, director of playgrounds and his assistant. respectively, when the season op ens. The two men aided Immeas urably last summer by taking over the coaching and umpiring duties. The two summer playground offi cials helped boys correct playing mistakes, improve their techniques at their various positions.
