Howard, trustee in Masonic Temple and Scottish Rite Cathedral FOUR WEST SIDE HOMES ENTERED BY BURGLARS burglarized during the past week, it was revealed by city detectives Friday.

The most recent is that of the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Aten, 146 North Main avenue, which was entered sometime Thursday afternoon and $18 together with a bank book taken. Mrs. Aten. who had been absent during the day, discovered the door of her home open when she returned at 5:30 o'clock in the A woman, is believed to have been a memebr of the party which entered the home of H.

R. Jones, of North Main avenue and Schlager street, and took two valuable fur coats and a sum of money. Entrance was gained by forcing a side window. The burglars got about $13 and some small articles in a visit to the home of George Waters, 638 North Hyde Park avenue, where entrance was gained through the cellar. At the home of M.

C. Cavanaugh, 633 North Hyde Park avenue, the burglars were scared away by Mr. Cavanaugh who was awakened as they were gaining entrance. Nothing was taken. HOW THE COLUMBIANS' EVENING WAS RUINED CARBONDALE Dec.

In response to a telephone call to the home of Thomas Delaney of West Seventh avenue, at 6 o'clock last night the Columbia Hose Company went to the house and discovered that the alarm was caused by smoke issuing from a barrel of smouldering sawdust. Thomas Williams is the treasurer and Mildred Howe, secretary. Reports on the Lackawanna County Association meeting held at CamD 178 two weeks ago were given by Frank Schroeder, C. L. Rhone and E. P.

Smith. Plans were made at this time for the annual Washington Day banquet of the county camps to be held February 22, 1928. against him. The complainant alleges that Paulino took the girl to Wilkes Barrc and on his return kept her prisonet in his home for several days. She gained her release when Constable Philip Farber went to the Paulino home to serve a warrant on the man charging him with non support and desertion of his wife and several children.

Paulino stated at the time that the girl was employed as a housekeeper and that he had her parents' consent to marry her as soon as he secured a divorce from his wife. The Paulinos, however, have since become reconciled, and are now living together at the Hospital street address. Mrs. Paulino, whom her husband charged some time ago with eloping with a boarder and who had not been heard from for several months until she instituted desertion charges, was endeavoring to raise bail for her spouse today.
