YOMfN'S NEW5 Tameron Club Plans Summer Activities Members of the Tameron club made plans for several summer activities at a dinner meeting, neia recently at Mason's Dining room. Arrangements were completed for a picnic and swimming party, to Edited by Winifred Martin Arrowhead Chapter, O.F.5., in Memorial Arrowhead chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, held memorial services at its final May meeting, with Mrs. Elizabeth Luke, worthy matron, and Melford Berglund, worthy patron, in charge. Mrs. Dorothy Northcott, deputy grand matron, was honored, as were past matrons and patrons.

Mrs. Lela Marquiss reported on the success of the recent benefit breakfast, which netted a substantial sum to the fund being collected for a chapter rug. The matron announced her pro June 10, 1946 be held June 18 at perns am park, and after dinner the group adjourned to the home of the sponsor, Mrs. Mary Heard, to play bridge. and Mrs. Joseph Edward Kealy, who were married at the First Baptist church the evening of May 11, have returned from a motor trip through the redwoods into Oregon, and are established in a home at 541 Maple street, Fon-tana. The bride is the former Sarah Louise Plant of Los Angeles. The Rev. William A.

Dowdle, uncle of the bridegroom, pronounced the vows for the couple in a double ring ceremony at 7:30. A garden setting was created for the wedding with an archway, entwined with flowers, baskets of flowers, candles, palms and ferns, all arranged by Mrs. Hettie Archer. Mrs. John Plant, sister-in-law of the bride, played the wedding music, including "I Love You Truly" and other favorite songs.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Navy blue suit, with white hat and accessories and a corsage of gardenias and stehpanotis. Her sister-in-law, Mrs. Bryson Plant, attended as matron of honor, wearing a powder blue suit with pink and white accessories and a corsage of gardenias. C.

W. Kealy served his brother as best man and the bride's brothers, Bryson and John Plant, ushered. One hundred and fifty friends and relatives of the couple attended the wedding and the reception afterward in the church parlor, where the bridal pair cut a three-tiered cake. The bridegroom's grandmother, Mrs. Cora Belle Dowdle of San Bernardino, in a black dress and corsage of carnations and gardenias, stood in the receiving line, as his mother, in a jersey print ensemble, and the bride's mother, wearing a pink suit with blue accessories.

Both mothers had carnation and gardenia corsages. Mrs. C. W. Kealy also assisted at the reception and was i hostess to the family group, and wedding party, for dinner preceding the wedding.

Mrs. Kealy is a graduate of Lincoln High school in Los Angeles and was employed by the city schools system until her marriage. The bridegroom, a graduate of Chaffey High school, served as a sergeant in the Army, spending four years in Alaska and two years in India before being discharged. He is now employed as dispatcher at Camp Ono. He is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. J. C. Kealy of 1258 Tenth street, San Bernardino, and the bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs.

Clyde Plant, of Los Angeles. Wilda Mobleyy Paul Chesebro Exchange Vows Miss Wilda Lou Mobley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Mob-ley of 1064 East Base Line, became the bride of Paul W. Chesebro of Gridley, in an impressive double ring ceremony at the Calvary Baptist church on May 5 at 4 p.m.

The Rev. Boyce Van Osdel officiated and 250 guests witnessed the nuptials. White flowers formed background for the wedding party, and pink and white baskets were used on either side of the bridal setting. Miss Marjorie Toles played the wedding music and accompaniment for Mre. Van Osdel, who sang "Through the Years;" "I Love You Truly" and "The Lord's Prayer." The bride's father gave her in marriage.

The bride was lovely in a gown of white satin with marquisette yoke and appliqued with flowers of lace. Her veil fell from a Juliet cap of pearls and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and lilies of the valley with orchid center. Mrs. Mary Jean Fleming of North Hollywood attended the bride as matron of honor, wearing a formal gown of fuchsia color and carrying pink carnations and blue delphinium. Mrs.

Ernest Gaal (Ann Adkins) and Miss Ruth Johansen of San Bernardino, wearing formal gowns in camellia and apple blossom pink, were the bridesmaids. They carried matching boquets. Sam Mobley, brother of the bride, attended Mr. Chesebro as best man. Ushers were Beady Crass of San Bernardino and Don Fleming of Hollywood.

The bride's mother wore a dress of light blue with fuchsia accessories and the bridegroom's mother also was attired in blue, with pink accessories. Both had corsages of pink rosebuds. The reception was held in the church parlor, where the couple cut a five-tiered cake. Miss Alpha Eblen, Mrs. Elizabeth Hornibrook and Mrs.

Sam Mobley assisted in serving. Mr. and Mrs. Chesebro are now residing in San Bernardino, where the bridegroom is employed at the House of Flowers. They toured the coast resorts on their wedding trip, the bride wearing away a pinK dressmaker suit, with brown accessories.

The bridegroom is the son of, Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Chesebro, formerly of San Bernardino. He graduated from San Bernardino High school in 1942 and attended junior college in the north before entering the Navy, in which he served for three years.

A beautiful bridal setting was created with pink and white sweet peas, and Miriam Powers played the wedding music. The bride's uncle, Mr. Knickerbocker, gave her in marriage and she wore a white suit with white accessories and carried a bouquet of red rosebuds. She was attended by Miss Helen Dawson of Big Bear and Millard Dews, stepfather of the bride, attended the bridegroom as best man. A wedding dinner followed.

C4 4 School Music Teachers Enjoy Dinner Meeting As a concluding professional-social activity for the current year, music teachers of secondary schools in the San Bernardino system held a dinner meeting at Arrowview Junior -High school cafeteria the evening of June 3.

Twenty teachers from six junior high schools and San Bernardino High school and guests enjoyed the event. Miss Paloma Prouty, supervisor of music in Riverside county schools, the speaker of the evening, discussed her recent trip to Cleveland, where she was a member of a music consultant group at the national conference of music educators. Reports were made by Miss Martha Alice Mackenzie, high school music instructor; Earle Mattox of Arrow-view faculty and Joseph W. Landon, supervisor of music in city schools. A program of special music, arranged by Ruth Fowler and Os-man Ingraham, featured the after-dinner hour, and included selections by the Arrowview ninth grade triple trio and a flute solo by Wilna Ann Woods, accompanied by Delores Young, pianist.

Beautiful table decorations were arranged by Mrs. Anita Johnson of the Arrowview art department, and girls of that school's home-making classes served the dinner, prepared by Mrs. Anna Jasper and her assistants. Mr. Landon was in charge of dinner arrangements.

Muscoy Women's club concluded a successful year Wednesday, June 5, when members gathered at the clubhouse at 12:30 p.m. for luncheon. Tables were decorated in yellow and white, Mrs. Max Cranmer, county federation president, installed the officers with impressive ceremonies, and the county club song and dox-ology preceded the luncheon, with Ha7.el Xord at the piano. Mrs.

Brooks Law-son led the pledge of allegiance and annual reports followed. Mrs. Rosemary Lee, Historian, recounted achievements of the club in an interesting manner. During the business meeting, Mrs. J.

J. Finch displayed a citation of honor, awarded the club by the Red Cross, and Mrs. Floyd Morley was appointed assistant to Mrs. jack Meserve, Girl Scout leader. Changes in by-laws, recommended at a previous meeting, were adopted, and Mrs.

Evelyn Smith was elected to the office of treasurer, vacated with the resignation of Mrs. Dorothy Steebe. Mrs. F. C.

Forbes played several piano selections and the installation, with Mrs. Cranmer using a rainbow ceremony, climaxed the program. New officers are: President, Mrs. Rosemary Lee; second vice-president, Mrs. F.

Draney; recording secretary, Mrs. G. Thompson; corresponding secretary, Mrs. Carl Jensen; treasurer, Mrs. T.

E. Smith; parliamentarian, Mrs. George Green. Mrs. Evelyn Norton, first vice-president, was unable to attend as she is vacationing in Iowa.

A shower of handkerchiefs and tea towels was presented Mrs. Sylvia Funderburg in appreciation of her activities for the past two years. The hostess committee for the day included M.mcs. Davie, T. E.
