Luther E. Schwartz-kopf, new pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, 2888 Arrowhead avenue, will deliver his first sermon to the congregation at the 11 a.m. service Sunday. Last Sunday afternoon ministers from throughout the valley con ducted an installation service for the new San Bernardino minister. The impressive rite was conducted by the Rev.

Armin Hesse, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran church in Riverside, assisted by nine other ministers, all of whom participated in the traditional ceremony of "the laying on of hands." Main speaker was he Rev, Reno II. Jeske of Whittier's Trinity Lutheran church. He spoke words of encouragement and inspiration based on the topic, "The Priest's Lips Should Keep Knowledge." The Rev. Elmer N. Witt, pastor of Vict orvi lie and Barstow Lutheran churches, served at liturgist in charge of the altar service.

Other pastors participating were the Reverends: Lawrence Rudolph of Colton; Karl Rudolph of Downey; R. Knaus of Fontana; L. E. Faasch of Pomona; William Schnute of Azusa, A. C.

Shaller of Redlands and A. C. Stahnke of the Redeemer Lutheran church in San Bernardino. The Ladies choir sang "The Lord Is My Shepherd" and the mixed choir sang "We Bid Thee Welcome in the Name of Jesus." Paul Warner sang "The Prayer" (Brahe), singing words written especially for the occasion by his mother, Mrs. A.

E. Warner. Accompanying him was Mrs. Donna Ruark. An informal reception was held for the pastor following, the service, with the women of the congregation serving refreshments.

To make the job easier for parents of elementary school pupils, the schools will distribute Tuesday, the day after classes open, a folder with the most complete information ever prepared by the city system for that purpose.

The green folder, titled "Especially for Parents," will be useful throughout the school year. It includes the full school calendar for 1930-51, with opening and closing dates for the semesters and all holidays; entrance requirements; school hours, so parents will know when to expect children home for lunch and at the end of the day; procedure for parents when a child is absent from school; information on teacher-parent progress report conferences, and advice on care of students' clothing, bicycles and other property.
