This salon is collected by the National Gallery of Canada and exhibited through the courtesy of universities across Canada. At least seven different processes were noted, all of highly artistic and pleasing lines, with a variety of tones ranging from greatest delicacy to rich full depth of contrast.

There is a great variety of subjects, the general study class being well represented; there are also some One examples of still life and abstract design. Among the splendid examples of landscape work may be mentioned those of Alex. Keighly, Yorkshire, England, who shows "Village Assembly, Morocco," and "The Canal, Skipton." Leonard Misonne, of Belgium, shows a study of open country in "Ruts." This picture captures a One effect of open air and distance. For those who like cats there are three interesting examples, "Puss," by A. S.
