E. Sir Charles M. Clement, of Sunbury, grand commander of the State Knights Templar in' attendance; the tournoi and peace ball of the Knights Templar of Northeastern Pennsylvania held last night at Town hall, was a brilliant success from every viewpoint. The decorating scheme was probably the most elaborate ever attempted, the big being a mass of decorations electrical set pieces; effectually blotting out every bit of trite hall's bareness. Previous to the dancing and while the Knights Templar of ai! the com manderles In the city and this part cf' the state were marching In review before Commander Clement, Lawrence's band played.

While the grand march was in progress the band rendered martial music concealed by a huge American flag. As the march ceased the flag was lowered, showing a large liberty bell, from which three young women, wearing wide sashes with the inscriptions "Liberty, Justice, Democracy," stepped forth. And from the top appeared a dove, the sign of peace and a little cupid, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Madden.

This little allegorical sketch was greatly appreciated. Inspection by Commander. Inspection and 'review the Knights Templar by Commander Clement was held previous to the dancing.
