2014 at the age of 85 years. She was the first child born to Nicholas and Eleanor Plain in Sarnia. Ontario on February 2L 1929. She was an athlete, and developed her love of all team sports, in high school, enjoying basketball in particular. She made lifelong friends during her work with Polymer.

She married and had four children. She maintained a strong connection with her family on Aamjiwnaang First Nation. In 1965. she moved to Alberta to be with her husband, but missed her home By the time she had saved enough money to go back, she found she could not leave the beautiful Alberta sky. She worked full time at Canada Post Calgary for 26 years.

Her life evolved, and as a single parent, she began to develop her many talents. She learned to swim, and enjoyed many years competing with Caigary Masters Swim Club. She developed her artistic talents, most notably painting. Her post-retirement fob was as an actress, working on North of 60. which led to an ACTRA membership and many other opportunities.

She was an avid volunteer with theatre companies, and at Ine'ewood Bird Sanctuary. She loved the outdoors, and was a member of the Viestwtnds and Skrastms hiking clubs. She was a member of tne Ca'gary Scrabbe Group and tne West Go-getters. The dreams she achieved included taking all of her grandchildren to Disneyland, travelling, wmnrng a meoa' for 200-metre outteif in Jaoan. and working a BuenaVrsta production (Shanghai Noon) She ioved X'.
