Mr. McNeely resided la Beckwlth township until 1199 whea he moved to Ramsay township where he farmed many years on the eighth line. On January 31. 1194. he was married to the former Agnes Isabella Ooth la Beckwlth township.

She died la 1111 Mr. McNeely. remarried la 1930 to Mra. Phoebe Turner, who survives. During hla long yeara of residence la the township, of Ramsay be bad taken an active part la the community and served as school trustee and secretary-treasurer of school section eight for, many years.

In 1933. Mr. and Mr. McNeely moved to Carleton- Place. He waa a devoted member ef St.

James Anglican Church. Ia addltloa to hla second wife, he la survived by a son by his first, marriage, Arthur X. McNeely, of Carleton Place, and a daughter, Mra. Percy Leech (Ethel), of Beckwlth; one stepson, Alex Turner, Ottawa, and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Hannah McArton, Reg.N..
