But, when you're talking about Zenith, it's absolutely correct. You see, in actual consumer tests, Zenith's Chromacolor picture was judged best by a ratio of better than two to one. Vie weren't suprised by the results. Because we sell all the major makes of giant screen color TV, we have a day-in, day-out opportunity to judge the relative merits of what every maker has to offer. Zenith has been, and continues to be, the best.

Zenith giant screen color consoles offer sharper pictures, better contrast, brighter colors and more true-to-life tints than other makes. But, as with anything else, it isn't how well it looks, it's how well it lasts that's important. Here, Zenith excells, too. Painstaking quality is Zenith's watchword. The most modem engineering, the best material, the most careful assembly, and, an insistence on putting quality before price, means that this Zen'tfi will be a lasting investment in home entertainment.

The rising star of Ricky Segall By JAY SHARBUTT Tht Associated Prtss Television newest star lay on a bed in his hotel room watching -Huckleberry Hound." His chin rested in his "hands. He was deep in thought. come here a minute," the star was told.

"We've got someone we'd like you to meet." Whereupon Ricky Segall, Age 4l2, got up. clicked off the TV set, and made as grand an entrance as one can when he's 3 foot 3 and weighs 40 pounds. The tyke is the latest addition to ABC's "Partridge Fam-. ily he plays the son of the Partridge's neighbors and makes his national debut in the series Saturday night. He and his songwriting and singing parents, Barbara and Rick Segall, were in town to promote the show.

Both father and son had guitars, although Ricky's was the size of a uke-lele. Luck credited Papa Segall, a staff songwri-, ter with Screen Gems, which makes "Partridge Family," gave a quick briefing on how his mop-haired, brown-eyed got a part on the show. 'it. was a combination of freak luck and the show's desire to add a new element this season," he said. Segall.

who like his wife was born and raised in the New York area, moved to Nashville early this year in hopes of interesting record companies in the Segall songs and act. While there, he said, a Screen Gems official gave them a listen and liked their songs. He also liked Ricky, a natural performer, who by this time had become part of their singing act. There was a new part opening on "Partridge Family" and Ricky got it. The entire family moved to "Hollywood and began a new life with Screen Gems.

End of story. Start of interview with star. The only, problem: what ric you ask a 4' 2-year-old star? Perhaps an easy question, like, "Do all those cameras scare you?" "Naw," said Ricky, munch-' ing on a hamburger. "How do you like performing?" "Yes, it fun. "Is there anything else you'd rather do?" "Naw.

Maybe be a baseball player." "Why?" I "Because," he insisted. rmlm mmtIh niMnim.
