Ira Irl Tubbs anticipates no championship in his second season on the banks of the Iowa but with loglo predicts an improvement on the one-seven record of last year. Mike Enich, who, to forestall all punsters makes ground by the acre, Is scheduled to supply the power lacking last fall when Iowa lost hard fought games by a field goal and one or two touchdowns.

Michael is well constructed for the task of full backing. Of Serbian parentage and out of Boone, Enich is bull necked, barrel chested and 212 pounds over a six foot chassis. Enich also may draw the assignment of calling plays, which is a tribute to his upper story. There is little doubt but that Jerry Niles will quickly establish a quit claim to right halfback. Built on much the same pattern as Enich, the Davenport boy is an all around hand.
