Wherear, Fuller Harris, by his certain deed of Trust, dated the 24th day of May, 18S6, and recorded in tho office of the Recorder of Ozark county, Stato ot Missouri, conveyed toJavvisS. Rogers tho lards hereinafter described; in trust to seuire th payment of a certain promissory as in said deed fully desciited and set forth. And whereas it is provided in said deo of trust that if said r.ote wus not fully paid off and discharged when the same became due and payable, liccording to th tenor and effect thereof, then the said Jarvis S. Rogers, or in casta of his refusal to act, then the then acting Sheriff of said county of Ozark should proceed to sell said property or any part thereof, at public vendue or outcry, at the court house door in the town ot Gainesville, in the'eounty of Ozark, and State of Missouri, to the highest bidder for cash, first giving 25 days public notice of the time, terms and place salo and of the property to bo sold, by in some newspaper printed in the county of Ozark; and whereas the said noto has become due and is unpaid, and the said Jarvis S. Rogers refuses to act, Thereforo tho undersighned, the present Sheriff of said county, will, on the 22nd day of June, 18S9, at the court house door, in the town of Gainesville, county of Ozark, State of Missouri, sell to tho highest bidder, for cash, tho following described real estate lying in said county, to-wit The south half of the southwest quarter of section 26; tho south half of tho southeast quarter of section 27; the the southeast quacter of Section 34; the west half of section 35; and the northwest quarter ot section 34, all in Township 23, Sang 13 west.

Morris against Mark Sale for abandoning his homestead entry No 12,254, dated December upon the WLot2NW Sec 2, Lot 2 NEJ and Wi Lot NE Section 3, Township 23n Range llw, in Ozark county, Missouri, with a view to the cancellation of said entry, the mud parties aro hereby summoned to appear at this office on the 23rd day of July, 1889, at 10 o'clock A. A. Smith visited friends and rel r.tives at Udall, returning Saturday Wheat harvest is about over in this county. Considerable wheat has been raised, and it is of good average quality. Sheriff Mahan, W. R.

Hawkins and W. A. Love returned from Jefferson City, having safely delivered Thos Harkins and Joe Ferguson to the Warden of the penitentiary. Alex. Miller wont down to St.

Ledger Tuesday, to put up the monument at the grave of F. E. Norton. This monument was made by Boon Mishler, and is a very fine piece of work. Elders.

Flippin and Jenkins, of Flippin, will hold a protract ed meeting at this place, beginning on Satuday, July 6th. Those are able preachers, well known and the people generally are requested to coma and hear them. Tho corn crop of tho county was, perhaps, never better at this season of the year. Cotton, however, is not so good, on account cf tho cool weather this spring, but it seems that the present hot weather ought to bring that crop out also. i The Masonic fraternity at this place will celebrate the 24th of June at which time a public basket dinuer will be given.

There will be public speaking and a street parade. Lie-member the time, next Monday. Everybody invited to come and bring something in thoir baskets. Notice.
