Jesse Green have returned to thir home in Liver more, after an extended visit with relatives here. They were companied to Jackson, by his mother, Mrs. Gertie Braddy who will spend the winter with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Latta.

Mr. and Mrs. Noble Maxey and children of Kcenes have moved to Bluford. Benjamin Wood of Springfield, III. has returned home after visiting his aunt, Mrs.

Myrla Huff and uncle, Mr. Ken Woodworth. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Johson spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Herschel Huff. A large crowd attended the funeral of Jasper McCombs at the Evangelical U. B. church Sunda The many friends of the family extend their sympathy.

The married folks class of the Evangelical United Brethren Sun day School taught by Mr. E. Staley had a pot-luck supper at the church last Friday night. After the supper games were played and prizes wer won by Mabel Wood, Zelma Kovach, Margie Warren, Elton Cornwell, Gale Clemons and Mae Warren. Mr.

and Mrs. Wade Jackson and daughter, Sarah Mae, of Divide visited Mrs. Mae Warren and family Sunday. Mr. and Mrsr.

P. E. Bell and children visited with Rev. and Mrs Wortmnn and family bf Parkersburg Friday. Rev.

Rngsdale of Alexis, 111. who was called here to conduct the funeral of Mr. McCombs spent Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rvnd Wood.

Leo and Ralph Warren of Springfield, 111. visited their brother sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Burrel Warren recently. Monroe Butler of Rochelle, 111 has been visiting relatives here and in Wayne City.

Mr. and Mrs. Willie Sandelback and Mr. Jake Harpool of Mt. Ver non at ended the funeral of Jasper McCombs Sunday.

The Bluford Royal Neighbors met Tuesday night at the home of Mrs. Martha Huff. Mrs. Gertie Alexander of Mt. Vernon was a visitor.

Fitch, Miss Baylor, Lloyd Esmon, Vivian Baldridge, Erma Brown, Helen Green, Opal Wood, Mildred Halbrook, Mabel Wood, Inez Warren, Dorothy Bise, Norman Gentle, Fred Hicks, Candace Dougherty, Ruby Russell, James Warren and Mae Warren attended the Teach ers Institute in Mt. Vernon Thurs day and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. K.

Swain and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Kelley of Mt. Vernon have re turned from a vacation trip spent in California where they visited Jackie Lee Swain of the U. Air Corps.

They also spent some time in Mrs. Vera Huff and son Clarence 'Huff visited Mr. and Mrs J. O. Clemons of Cisne, 111.
