Trinkleback MRS. RAYMOND GLOECKLER McGowan Dobbs Geraldine Harris, honors graduate of Hackensack High School, is learning her American History first-hand. Geraldine is one of 30 girls who wrote prize-winning essays on the topic "Integration or Separatism: A Dilemma for Americans." The nation-wide contest was sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. The two-week tour began June 21 in Chicago. The girls will visit eight cities.

The travel awards are designed to give potential leaders a greater appreciation of the country and its heritage through personal experience. Alpha Kappa Alpha is the largest and oldest organization of black college women in the country with over 40,000 members. Recchia MRS. WALTER N. KREIL JR.

Her husband was graduated from Phillipsburg High School and Rider College with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is employed by Arthur Andersen and Company, certified public accountants in New York City and is a member of the N.J. National Guard.
