The Oldest Masic House in B.C Thore ia nn expression of value in those rings which makes them the ideal in the ryes of every buyer. Enough is known about the quality of the MIRKS' diamonds to convince the purchaser of the true value of every gera set in these solitairies.

THE B1RKS' WEDDING RING is made in 18-karat gold and is designed to please the eye and give comfort to the wearer. derful energy and spontaneity of devotion displayed by the women delegates. Especially remarkable was the amount of ability displayed by tha women from comparatively small countries, whose women themselves constitute the most striking feature of the congress. Signs of Advance. Impressive also Is the official recognition that various governments are now extending to women's congresses.

In France the government has recently granted an appropriation for an Internal Ujnal women's congress In Paris. The Hungarian government and the municipality of Budapest contributed to this congress. All this is intensely Interesting, showing that everything Is uniting and moving In one direction favorable to woman's cause. The Budapest congress showed more decisively to the world the extent of the woman's movement than any other congress I ever attended." These views, expressed by one so eminently qualified to Judge of the situation, should reassure those who feel uny doubt as to the ultimate outcome of the woman suffrage movement throughout the world. THE International Woman Suffrage Alliance has Just concluded a convention at Budapest, and at these sessions many marks of progress were displayed by European women.

From Many Lands, relegations were present from such European countries as Rumania, Finland, Hungary, Gallcia and France, and the women from these countries showed themselves to be fully abreast of the most modern thought and progress. It was only owing to the fact that none of the emancipated members of the new feminist organizations of China Is able to speak anything but Chinese that delegates were not sent from China. Although the admission of China to the International alliance Is extremely Improbable, the activity in China Is significant as Indicating the beginning of the women's movement in the Orient. Uuihui-Ntliig Knrrgy. It may be of interest to note the outstanding features of this recent congress as recounted by Miss Jane Addams, of Chicago.

In reviewing the proceeding of the congress, Miss Addams says: "Most Inspiring in Its cosmopolitan character was the won om9 Ltd. it, mjeSSi JEWELLERS AND SILVERSMITHS GEORGE E.
