That's right The Record is a textbook, it's a living guide to the world that's rewritten every day. Memorial Post 4 1 7 In schools throughout Bergen, and Rockland Counties, your newspaper is read by students participating in The Record's Newspaper in the Classroom Program. Each class receives the newspaper for a minimum of 10 school days during the year. Schools receive the papers at the wholesale price. That's all they pay for.

We pay for the rest. We give each student a Newspaper in the Classroom textbook, and each teacher a Study Outline. We supply a series of educational filmstrips, send representatives of the newspaper to speak at the school, and invite participating classes to our offices for a tour. We're glad to do it. The young people in our program today will be our readers and your leaders tomorrow.
