Cards Play Terriers in Return Game SEEK REVENGE FOR 18-0 LOSS IN C.B.L. GAME Return Game Scheduled Friday On Redlandi High Gridiron To Favor San Bernardino In a return gam to be played on the Redlandi High school gridiron, the San Bernardino Cardinal will be determined to leek revenge for the first Cltrui Belt league setback received from the Terrleri, two weekg ago. In that game the Terrleri not only outplayed the Redblrdi but demonstrated an aerial attack, engineered by Ronnie Romero, that et up conditions for two of the three touchdowns In the 18-0 win. The second game between the Cards and Terriers ii not a league contest but Is one of those games coming under wartime schedule and will be tabbed as an added attrac tion. SHOW 8TRENGTH But there is the assurance that if the San Bernardino Cards can mus ter the strength displayed In the scoreless tie with the University of Redlands Bullpups, then Coach Kenny Johnson's grldders should rule favorite to gain that sweet re vengs on a decisive score.

Against the Bullpups' aerial at tack the Cards had a lure-fire defense, and in general demoralized the overhead strategy of the yearlings. If they can trap Ronnie Romero's slinging arm or break up the speed of Terrier spot receivers, It will go a long way toward the win over Redlands which the Red-birds are most eager to accomplish. HARD PRACTICE Coach Johnson mapped out his grid practice schedule this week with a view toward smoothenlng out several plays used by the Cards and to Improve the blocking and tackling. The first scrimmage will be staged either tomorrow or Wednesday. There is also the certainty that Leo Visbal, who ripped and slashed his way to several good gains against the Bullpups last Friday, will see a lot of action In the Cards' backfleld.

The Improved drive by Virgil Fon-dy and Laverne Horton will also be a factor on which the coach will depend but there is still a definite weakness in the driving power of several ball carriers and Coach Johnson has found few dependable tacklers in this forward wall besides Ben Gregory and Ormonde Seccombe. ZIVIC TRIMMED BY ARMSTRONG (Bv Associated Press) SAN FRANCISCO Hammerln' Henry Armstrong, former triple boxing champion, climaxed a whirlwind comeback campaign last night when he scored a 10-round decision over Fritzie Zivic of Pittsburgh, the man who took his welterweight title away from him two years ago. Zivic himself has since lost the crown. Tearing in and throwing punches in ceaseless fashion, the iquatty Negro gave his rangier opponent a terrific body beating. There were no knockdowns and for the most part the two traded blows at close quarters. Armstrong weighed 142H and Zivic 146H.

Zivio inflicted considerable damage and had Armstrong bleeding badly from a cut lip in the closing rounds but he receipted for a steady pasting around the midsection.
