Palisades Park Religious services will be tomorrow 10 A. M. for William Lenz, 71, of 74 East Oakdene Avenue, at the Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield. The Rev. a Paul J.

of the Calvary Lutheran Church of Leonia will officiate. A resident of this town for 60 and a member of the Pinecliff Lake Community Club, Lenz died Monday while visiting in Clearwater, Fla. He was a general building contractor. Surviving him are his wife Violet, a son William G. of this town, two sisters, Mrs.

Lillian Smith of Long Island, N. Y. and Erna of this town; two brothers, Bruno Marshall of Indian Head Beach, and Joseph Majuschak of Clifton; and two grandchildren. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P. M.

Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Englewood following tomorrow's services. John Smith, 54, Accident Victim Harrington Park Funeral services for John Frank Smith, 54, of 36 Hazel Street, who was killed Sunday in an automobile accident while on a business trip in Miami, were to take place this morning at St.a Andrew's Episcopal Church. Interment was to be at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen. Mr. Smith, who lived here 10 years, was assistant vicepresident of J.

F. Frelinghuysen Corporation in New York, an insurance company. He was a member of the Lions Club, the Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the American Legion. him are his wife Surviving, sister Mrs. Alice Gale of Pennsylvania.

Emma Dannenberg Teaneck Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Dannenberg will be tomorrow at the Clifford H. Peinecke Funeral Home 1321 Teaneck Road. She died at her home, 35 East Tryon Avenue, Monday. Born in Vienna, Austria, Mrs.

Dannenberg had resided here for the past 15 years. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Joseph Kuell of Teaneck; three brothers, John Zima of Butler, Ludwig Zima of California, and Richard Zima of Woodcliff Lake. She was the widow of Richard, Rev. Dannenberg.

George DeLawter, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate at the 10 A. M. service. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.

Ida M. Betz, 82, of 45 Hill Street, died yesterday after a long illness. Born in New York, Mrs. Betz had resided here for 51 years. She a member of the Third Order of Mount Carmel Altar and Scapular Society of St.

Joseph's R. C. She is survived by son, Lawrence G. of River Edge; two grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Josephine McGuire of Bogota. She was the wife of the late John L.

Betz. A requiem mass will be offered at St. Joseph's C. Church at 9:30 A. M.

Friday. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Friends may visit at the Volk Funeral Home of Bogota, 101 East Main Street. Emma Kehoe Hasbrouck Heights Mrs. Emma Kehoe, 86, of 255 Longworth Avenue died Monday at Brookwood Convalescent Home, Saddle Brook, after a long illness.

She was born in Germany. Surviving are her son Walter of Somerville; 4 grandchildren: and 17 great-granchildren. Her husband Peter died in October 1961. The funeral service will be tomorrow at 10 A. M.

M. MILLER RITE IS CONDUCTED Brooklyn Native Active In Church, Scouts Cresskill Services were to be this morning for Miss Florence Miller, who died Sunday at Bergen Pines Hospital. Born in Brooklyn 84 years ago, Miss. Miller lived in Cresskill for more than 40 years and had been at the Park Ridge Manor in Park Ridge since 1965. In 1921 she organized the Girls Scouts of Cresskill.

taught in the New York City School system for. 40 years, and was a member and 1 Sunday school teacher of the Cresskill Congregational Church for many years, She joined the Merritt Park Gospel Church, now the First Baptist Church of Cresskill, when it was founded and taught Sunday school there. She had also served as pianist, trustee, and church clerk. Surviving is a cousin, Milton C. Ehrland of Pearl River, N.

Y. Interment at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood was to follow the service at Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly, with the Rev. Alfred Conant of the First Baptist Church officiating. FATHER BOUWHU'S. EX-COLLEGE HEAD Buffalo (P-The Rev.

Andrew L. Bouwhuis, former president and rector of Bellarmine College, a Jesuit seminary in Plattsburgh, N. died Monday in Sisters Hospital after a brief illness. He was 71. Father Bouwhuis headed the seminary from 1962 until 1965, when he became spiritual director of the Canisius College Jesuit community here.

He served as librarian of St. Peter's College, City, N. J. from 1955 to 1960 and for the next 2 years was executive director of LeMoyne College in Syracuse. Father Bouwhuis was Canisius College librarian from 1935 until taking the post at St.

Peter's. Earlier in his career, he taught at Boston College and is College high school, St. Joseph's in Philadelphia, ham University, and Georgetown University. Funeral services will be conducted here tomorrow. James F.

Biggs Moonachie Funeral services for James F. Biggs, 51, of 5 Henry Street, who died Sunday at Hackensack Hospital, will be today at 8 P. M. at the Trinka Funeral Home, 439 Maywood Avenue, Maywood. The Rev.

Alex Balden of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. The funeral is tomorrow at 10 A. M. and burial will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Born in Georgetown, he was a resident of Moonachie for 20 years.

Mr. Biggs served in the Army in World War II, and was a furnace operator Coast Metals, Little Ferry for 16 years. Surviving are his wife, Susan; two daughters, Mrs. Doran Webster of Sarasota, and Mrs. Nancy Schlagel of Claymont, two sons, Gary and Keith, both at home; his parents, Mrs.

Dora Merchant of Maryland and James Biggs of Maryland; a brother, William Biggs, and three grandchildren. Friends may call today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P. M. Theodore Sadler (Special to The Record) Princeton -Theodore Sadler, 79, a former resident of Ridgefield Park and Teaneck, died yesterday. Mr.

Sadler was born in Kingston, N. and was employed by the American Steel Foundries Co. in New York. He worked there for 40 years until his retirement in 1952. He was a life-long member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Ridgefield Park, the Free and Accepted Masons in Chicago, the Boy Scouts of America in Ridgefield Park, and many civic organizations.

He is survived by a brother, David of Pennsylvania; three Arthur West Concord, Theodore R. Jr. River Edge, and Wilbur M. of Annandale, seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Mr.

Sadler was the husband of the late Eleanor Sadler. Private funeral services will be conducted here tomorrow. Memorial donations may 1 be made to the Tenacre Foundation, Princeton. He was a retired officer of J. K. Larkin and Company, New York City. A veteran of World War he was a member of the Oritani Arthur Swanson Service Planned Upper Montclair--A memorial service will be conducted Sunday for Arthur L. Swanson, 84, of 160 Gordonhurst Avenue.

He died Monday at his home after a brief illness. Born in Brewster, N. Mr. Swanson was a resident of Bogota for 43 years before moving here 2 years ago. He was a foreman for the New York Central West Shore Railroad.

Mr. Swanson was a member of the Ridgefield Park Methodist Church, the Russell Lodge 850 F. A. M. in Ravena.

N. and pastpresident of the New York Central Railroad Square Club. He received his 50-year Masonic Pin in 1965. Surviving are his wife, Florence Van Allen Swanson, and a daughter, Miss Miriam Swanson. The memorial service will be at the Watchung Congregational Church, Watchung.

a student at Springfield College, died yesterday in a hospital of a skull fracture suffered in an automobile collision January 11. Ralph W. Reinhold, 88; Headed Publishing Firm Pawling, N. Y. (P Ralph Reinhold, founder and former president of the Reinhold Publishing Corp.

of New York City, died yesterday at his home in this Dutchess County community. He was 88. Reinold was president of the publishing company until 1945 when he became chairman of the board. In 1950 he retired I from active direction of the company, but continued as chairman and adviser until last year. The Reinhold company publishes architectural magazines, chemicals and materials magazines, and art, technical, seience text books.

It also manages advertising for the American Chemical Society. Joseph D. Stouter, Retired Phone Man Hawthorne; and three grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 1:30 P. M.

at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue. The Rev. John S. More, pastor emeritus of the First Reformed Church, will officate. Burial will be at the George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.

TENNIS CHAMP DIES -Holcombe Ward, 88, a leading figure in American tennis for more than half a century, died in his sleep at Red Bank. He had been a national champion, member of the first Davis Cup team, and president of the U.

DUNDORF DIES AT AGE 68 Resident Of Dumont For 40 Years Dumont Conrad W. Dundorf, 68, of 24 Oak Street, died yesterday at Englewood Hospital following a short illness. Born in Guttenburg, he was a resident here for 40 years and worked for the Borough for 12 years. He was predeceased by his wife Mary R. in 1965.

Surviving are three sons, John C. of Dumont; David M. of Wyckoff; and Michael of Bloominton, five sisters, Mrs. Jenny Hohneker of Englewood, Mrs. Margaret Preher of Guttenburg, Mrs.

Tillie Reiser of Palisades Park; Mrs. Mae Strothman of Fort Lee, and Mrs. Sophie Stanek of North Bergen, and seven grandchildren. There will 1 be a high mass of requiem tomorrow at 9:30 A. M.

MOLLIE SLOTT, 73, NEWS GROUP HEAD New York (P -Mollie Slott, 73, vice-president director of the Chicago Tribune New York Syndicate, died yesterday following a long illness. In private life, Miss Slott was Mrs. Charles Levinson. She served the Syndicate for 56 years. The Syndicating service supplies newspapers across the nation with comic strips and features that include columns, short fiction stories and serialized novels.

It has been said that prior to her leaving active duty about a year ago, Miss Slott read more comics than any one else in the country. The newspaper trade magazine "Editor once said of Miss Slott: "She is as colorful as the artists whose work she helps edit." She is survived by her husband and two sons. Robert J. Gaul Cliffside Park Robert J. Gaul, 61, of 237 Franklin Avenue, died yesterday at Hackensack Hospital.

Born in England, he resided in the United States for 42 years and in Cliffside Park for 20 years. Mr. Gaul was a sheetmetal worker for Aluminum Company of America, Edgewater and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Surviving are his wife, Irene; daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Colditz of Union City and Mrs.

Patricia Cavalli of Cliffside Park; two sons, Robert Jr. of Weehawken and Myles of Cliffside Park; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Walsh of Cliffside Park and Miss Mary Gaul of England; a brother, Thomas Gaul, and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 A. M.

Stouter, C. a Roman Catholic priest of Brooklyn. Born in Emmitsburg, he lived in the area until coming to Ridgewood 60 years ago. He retired in 1951 from the New Jersey Bell, Telephone Company where he was a repairman. He was a member of the H.

G. McCully Chapter 12, Telephone Pioneers of America, and he was credited with installing most of the earliest residential telephones in Bergen County. Mr. Stouter was the oldest member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R. C.

Church in Ridgewood, and he was affiliated with its Holy Name Society. He was a life and charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1736, Ridgewood. Surviving, in addition to his brother, are his wife, the former Johanna Anglum Stouter; a son, Charles D. of Upper Montclair; two daughters, Mrs. William (Barbara) Hogan of Ridgewood and Mrs.

Paul's Lutheran Church. Women's Club Executive Dies New Brunswick (P--Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow for Mrs. Margaret C. White. executive secretary of the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs, who died Monday at 63.

Mrs. White was president of the Verona Woman's Club from 1947 to 1949. The Verona Chapter honored her by having her named, inscribed in the honor book of the State Federation of Women's Clubs She leaves three sons: William H. of Westfield; Malcolm E. of Chatham; and Phillip C.

of Nampa, Idaho; also her mother, Mrs. Omer U. Carl of Indiana. The funeral will be at 1 P. M.

BAILEY, 85, HIGHWAY AIDE Nanuet William T. Bailey, 85, of 18 Fenner Lane was to have, been buried today in Germonds Cemetery, New City. Mr. Bailey died Monday in Elmwood Manor. Nursing Home, Nanuet.

Mr. Bailey was born in England in 1881 and came to the United States in 1896. After spending much of his life in Brooklyn he moved to Nanuet 4 years ago. He was employed as chief inspector of the Bureau of Highways before retirement. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; one son, William W.

of Nanuet; one daughter, Mrs. M. Helena Harper of Bethesda, and four grandchildren. Services were conducted by the Rev. Edward W.

Callendar and funeral arrangements were by the Higgins Funeral Home, 24 Main Street, Nanuet. Ann McCabe, 30 New City Mrs. Ann McCabe, 30, of 7 Brookside Avenue, was to be buried this morning in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Nanuet.

She died at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern on Saturday, after a short illness. Mrs. McCabe came to the United States in 1955 from Ireland, her birthplace, and had been a resident of New City for the past 5 years, having lived in White Plains previously. She was the Empire State Savings and Loan Association of New City and was was a member of the Catholic Big Sisters of St. Augustine's R.

C. Church, also of New City. Surviving are her husband, James; two sons, Kiernan and one daughter, Ann Marie; her parents, Patrick and Brigid Gavin of County Mayo, Ireland; her brother John of Ireland; three sisters, Mary of England and Birdie and Kathleen of Ireland. Services were to be held at St. Augustine's R.

Funeral arrangements were by the Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, City, Boris Hertzberg Rite Will Be Today Paramus Boris Hertzberg, an attorney, 63, of 802 Wynetta Place, died yesterday after a heart attack at his home. Born in Paterson, he lived i in Paramus 10 years. He was graduated from New York University Law School and had a private practice in Paterson.

He was an attorney for 35 years. was a member of the Passaic County Title Searchers Association and The Title Abstractors Association of New Jersey. Surviving are his wife the former Evelyn Sportelly; a son Robert of Paramus; and a brother Walter of Ramsey. Services will be today at 2 P. M.

the Robert Schoem Menorah Chapel, West 150 Route 4. Burial will be at the King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton. The mourning period will be at his residence. JOHN THYGESEN, 84, ERIE CAPTAIN Rutherford--John Thygesen, 84. of 26 Spring Dell, died Monday at Passaic General Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Norway, Mr. Thygesen had lived here for the past 6 months and formerly lived in Ridgefield Park for 38 years. He was a retired lighter captain for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. Mr. Thygesen was employed by the railroad for 50 years retiring in 1938.

He is survived by his wife, Nora. 1:30 M. tomorrow at the Funeral, services will be at Diffily Funeral Home, 41. Ames Avenue. The Rev.

William Niebanck, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Hackensack Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 P. M.

Mary Stapert Hawthorne-Funeral services will be tomorrow for Mrs. Mary Van der Schelde Stapert, 68, of 50 Westervelt Avenue, who died Monday in Paterson General Hospital. Mrs. Stapert was born in Prospect Park and resided in this borough for 40 years. She was the widow of Jacob Stapert who died in 1941.

She was a member of the Prospect Park Christian Reformed Church. Surviving are a son Samuel of Oakland; a brother Peter Van der Schelde of Little Falls; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 P. M. at the Vermeulen Memorial Funeral Home, 131 Haledon Avenue, Paterson, with the Rev.

Edith B. Juchatz Hillsdate Services will be at 8 o'clock tonight at the McFuneral Home, 270 Broadway, for Mrs. Edith Bender Juchatz of 251 Maple Avenue. She died Monday at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood. Mrs.

Juchatz was born in Brooklyn and lived there until she moved to Hillsdale 9 months ago. She was the wife of the late George Juchatz, and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Grace J. Schulhafer of Hillsdale, and two grandchildren. The family has announced that memorial donations to Pascack Valley Hospital will be appreciated.
