Actually, many of the clips, included on the tape first were aired on a TV pilot earlier this year, and producer Gallen is threatening to create more for a full fall series. Technically, the clips included on "Deja View" look like they were shot through a lens covered with waxy yellow buildup. Conceptually, they're almost as murky, favoring lame-brained enactments of the lyrics or spastic attempts at "Twilight fantasies. The most notably dumb plot accompanies Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale." It's so incoherent and arty that even its star, Harry Dean Stanton, looks confused. Ten directors were in volved in the making of clips, but they all show the same stunning lack of style and rhythm.
