Last vear, however, tbe net gain was 363, which bat been exceeded but three timet in fifty yeart Since January 1, the additiont to tbe churches bsve trettly exceeded those of a year ago, tbe church at East Uard-wick contributing 82 addition! in one Sundav. Wbile the population of tbe ttate does not Increase it is plessing to note a aobstaDtial gain spiritually in one of tbe great denominations of tbe United States.
