Faculty members participating in the project will attend two four-day sessions in June this year and the summer of 1983. During these sessions, they will talk about individual courses, the integration of the courses and the writing requirements necessary for each core course. One of the summer sessions will concentrate exclusively on the development of trained cadres of multi-disciplinary teams for this course. The teams of three instructors each will bring together the specialized geographical, cultural and other expertise of the faculty into a unified course. Also to be considered during the project will be ways to handle the issue of acknowledged gaps in the core cur-, riculum engendered by credit limitations, as well as reassessment of individual courses and their methodologies.
