Society Editor Chester County CE Plans Week-End Conference 500 Persons to Attend I wo- Day Event at Camp Sankanac, Pughtown, I o- day and Tomorrow Easing Into Autumn By PRUNELLA WOOD (Central Press Writer) Jacket costumes developed in two different fabrics have a double duty character which will add welcome changes to your wardrobe. Approximately 500 Christian Endeavor society members ol Chester county will meet today and tomorrow for a week-end conference at Camp Sankanac, Pughtown.

Theme of the two-day event will be Word of A program of sports, baseball, boating and swimming will open the conference this afternoon. Tonight, the Gospel Couriers, a group of joung men from Grace chapel, Oakmont, will conduct a devotional service. It will be followed by a campfire service. Tomorrow will feature a sunrise service led by Mr. Willis Marquette.

Miss Ruth Haines, 68 South Evans street, spent the past week vacationing in Ohio. Pvt. Id Michael Sabo, Indiantown Gap, who is home on furlough, returned home after a visit to Toledo, Ohio. Miss Vinetta Boalton, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. William Boalton. 79 North Evans street, lias returned to her duties in New York where she is a member of an all-girl orchestra. The group will broadcast tomorrow night at 10 o'clock from Fort Meade. Md, Miss Boalton spent the past three days visiting her parents.

MISS MOYER IS ENGAGED Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Moyer, 610 Grant street, yesterday announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Mary Ann Moyer, to Mr, Albert Michael Yannessa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Yannessa, 523 Chestnut street.
