FRIDAY, JUNE, 26, 1942 PAGE EIGHT SOCIETY and CLUB NEWS; STYLES and FASHIONS for MILADY Edited by WINIFRED MARTIN LomaLinda Pair Wed in Church Rites Over five hundred friends and relatives were present for the Sunday evening wedding ceremony 'uniting Miss Virginia Margaret Schall and Willis Reuben Johnson In marriage at the Loma Linda Hill church at 8:30 o'clock. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.

G. Schall and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson, all of Loma Linda. Elder J.

Alford Simonson was the presiding minister. The bridal gown was cut princess artyle from whit marquisette and lac with short puffed sleeve and sweetheart necklin. A fingertip yell was held by a tiara of pearls and the flower were gladioli and weet pea with a gardenia corsag as the center. Sh was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor wa Mis Joan Jeys, wearing blue net over taffeta, a shoulder-length veil matched the gown and she carried peach gladioli.

Bridesmaids were Elaine Fink and Louise Haigh, wearing peacn gowns, matching shoulder-length veils and carrying bouquets of orchid and white gladioli. Flower girl was the three-year-old cousin of the bride, Margaret Ann Moses, who wore pink net and carried a basket of pink carnations. Attending the groom was Glenn Angel, and ushers were Milford An-holm, Harry Johnson, Donald Schall and Claude Harlow. The couple chose the birthday celebration of the bride's mother for the wedding date. Margaret Schall, accompanied by Elmer Dignco at the organ, sang I Love You Truly and Because.

The church was attractively decorated with palms, white gladioli and Shasta daisies. At the reception held at Dorcas hall Mrs. Schall received in an aqua gown with a pink carnation corsage. The mother of the groom, Mrs. Johnson, wore a blue gown and a pink carnation corsage.

The bride and groom cut a three-tiered wedding cake, which was served with other cakes, and Hawaiian punch. Aunts of the groom, Mrs. Stevens and Mrs. Eurman, assisted in serving. During the reception Joyce Holfstar entertained with several piano selections.

The couple left on a wedding trip to the beaches and will return soon to a home in Loma Linda. For going away the bride wore a poudre blue ensemble with white acces-cories and a gardenia corsage. The bride graduated from Loma Linda academy in 1942 and was president of her senior class and active in many events at the academy. The groom graduated from the academy in 1941 and is now employed in Loma Linda. 0 Alpha Circle Meets At Cooper Home Members of Alpha Circle, First Methodist church, met with Mis.

Tom Cooper at 2877 Arrowhead avenue, with assisting hostesses, Mrs. W. 0. Schulze and Mrs. Mary Lou Gibsen.

Mrs. M. E. Dimock presided in the absence of the president, Mrs. G.
